Vehicle & Parts Protection
Volvo pulled the wraps off its first electric-only vehicle, the C40 Recharge. Although it’s an all-new model, this compact crossover SUV shares an all-electric powertrain along with many styling cues and technologies with the previously released XC40 Recharge. However, the Volvo C40 is an all-electric vehicle with no gasoline engines available. It hit the fast-growing automobile segment with an attractive exterior design, inviting interior, and a sufficient driving range to be competitive in the market. On the outside, it differentiates itself from its bigger sibling with a sloping roofline and a number of distinctive design details. Those owners who want to make it look more special can go aftermarket. Many people own the same car model which can be made distinct by installing some small accessories. For instance, custom license plate frames will certainly set it apart from others. These and many other Volvo C40 accessories and parts are readily available for you on our digital shelves.
Up front, the newbie sports pixelated LED headlights and a closed-off vestigial grille with smooth edges. The bumper is more angular than that of the XC40 and has new fog-light housing. Besides, the C40 got specially designed wheels. If you want to make your SUV look even more unique, you can go with custom rims which are also offered in a variety of designs in our selection of Volvo C40 parts and accessories. Inside, you will find a digital gauge cluster and an attractive looking dashboard trim. There are lots of clever storage solutions along with a large panoramic sunroof. All parts are made from quality materials and thoughtfully designed with practicality in mind. For the most part, its cabin is identical to that of the XC40.
On the mechanical side of things, the vehicle is powered by two electric motors mounted front and rear. They generate a combined 402 horsepower and get a vehicle to 60 mph in 4.7 seconds. The top speed is said to be 112 mph. A 75.0-kWh battery pack is located under the floor. It is claimed to deliver 210 miles of driving range. Another good thing about the C40 is that it comes standard with DC fast charging. So it will take about 40 minutes to recharge the battery to 80 percent of its maximum capacity. The vehicle can also be hooked up to a 110V or 220V outlet. However, the charging time will be slower in this case.
