    Product Details

H2.1 Series™ EB Configuration Cargo Rack System (H2004EB03B) by Vantech®. Material: Aluminum. Finish: Black. The EB configuration is ideal for hauling larger and longer cargo. The ‘E’ front end acts as an extension to the overall system by adding an extra cross bar up front. This crossbar adds an extra 19.5 inches of space to the H2.1 system, and allows for fog lights and other clamp-mounted accessories to be seamlessly integrated to the system. The ‘B’ roller on the rear allows for easy loading and unloading. It also protects your roof line and any high mounted brake lights or reflectors from accidental loading/unloading damage.

Crossbars are also extruded aluminum and has built-in channels on both top and bottom along the length of the cross bar with opening in middle for easier accessory installation. Rubber U-handles are installed on the front of the cargo rails to aid with loading and unloading of material and wind noise reduction. Rear U-Handles have a roller for easy loading and unloading. For vehicle load capacity read the factory manual for your vehicle's weight load specifications.

The Vantech H2.1 aluminum cargo rack system does not require drilling for installation. The system is secured to factory mounting points on the Cargo Van. This H2.1 Rack System is constructed from extruded aluminum. The cargo rail also has a built-in channel to allow additional accessories along the side. Cross bars are also extruded aluminum and has built-in channels on both top and bottom to allow for additional accessories such as adjustable guides, conduit carriers and others. U-Handles are installed on both front and rear of cargo rails to assist in loading, off loading and reduction of wind noise. U-Handles with roller ability is installed on the rear of cargo rail to assist in loading and to prevent damage to rear of vehicle.

    Great for Work Vans
This rack holds everything i throw at it. I've loaded up ladders, pipes and gear without any issues. No rattling even with a full load. Definitely recommend. Took me half a day to install

    Great Addition to My Van
This rack is versatile and strong. I carry everything from ladders to surfboards, it handles all with ease. Installation was a bit of a workout but doable.

    Good Product but Overpriced
They work, but for something this simple they should be much cheaper.

    RAM Promaster Roof Bracket Mount
I bought this bracket to mount solar panels to the top of my RAM Promaster 2500. I thought there would be a set included in the price. They are sold individually at a high price considering you need at least four to mount anything to the roof. The quality is good, however, the rubber rim around one of the brackets slid off the bracket making it a little sloppy on installation. It’s still did it’s job, and the panels were installed successfully.

    Great Find
Thought I was going to have to drill until I found these. Easy to install and the unistrut rail fit on top just fine. Installing a solar panel on top of my van turned out to be a breeze. Good product.

    Great Product Terrible Buying Experience
This rack is excellent, but my customer experience was an utter disaster. I will describe the product first and after that I will describe my experience. First of all, I assembled the rack without the roller or U-bars because I have it on our personal, non-commercial, NV3500. I decided on this unit since similar racks are borderline-obscene money from Aluminess (plus freight). CARiD had this with free shipping and was it was not difficult to put together (you will need a second set of hands when you go to mount it however). One negative is the brackets that hold the rack on the roof of the vehicle are pretty high profile, elevating the rack 4-5" or so above the roof. If you have a commercial vehicle this is not a big deal I'm sure, but since this is our family vehicle, we're trying to look as non-commercial as possible, plus it creates a lot of wind drag. As such, I picked up some 2"x2" 90° L-shaped aluminum bars that I had a local machine shop cut up and drill to meet the bolt hole dimensions so the roof mounts still line up the exact same way. Now the rack sits very low profile (< 1") off the roof, creating much less drag and looking a whole lot better. I have a big Thule roof cargo box that secures to this rack and we took it on a long vacation up and down the east coast recently and did not have a single problem. Another small negative is that some of the hardware (nuts, washers, bolts) could have been a little better quality. I did torque off a couple of bolt heads and if you do this after you've assembled most of the rack, it's a lost cause to try and use another bolt as a replacement since you'll likely have to disassemble and start over. Side note: if you do not use the U-bars, you will get a bit of drag and whistling as you go down the road at speed because without the U-bars, you leave the 4 tubes at the end of the racks gaping open. That is remedied easily however by buying round plastic plugs from Amazon that can just be pushed in gently with a mallet. Overall, very happy with the product. My customer experience was another matter entirely. It could be a very long story, but essentially, before buying, make sure you know exactly which model you are getting and the parts that will be coming with it. I ordered one size and got a different one, or actually, it was a combination of parts and quantities from two different models/parts lists. I can deal with an honest mistake no problem, but this turned into a disaster. I had to take photos of what I received as proof (understandable), then CARiD, who is a middleman, had to consult with the manufacturer in Brooklyn to figure out what was going on. Being detail-oriented, I scoured the parts lists and instruction manuals (PDFs for all are on the CARiD product listing page) for all three models of this rack they sell and found that the parts lists are NOT accurate. Ultimately I ended up calling VanTech myself because dealing with CARiD constantly was a HUGE pain since they are not at all knowledgeable of the product and could never give me any answers that I hadn't already gathered from my own research. In the end, a gentleman from VanTech, who was pleasant and great to work with, admitted that the parts lists included in the instruction manuals have needed to be updated for some time now and they simply haven't done it yet. Eventually I got what I needed but only after being persistent and putting the pressure on, to make CARiD fulfill their end of the transaction and get me what I paid for. Moral to the story is confirm with VanTech what you are getting first for the model you are intending to purchase. Once you do that, then go to CARiD to get it for the best price, unless you'd rather spend a little more and buy direct from VanTech. If you do that, you'll be fine.

    Nice and Easy!
This went on almost too easy. I thought we were missing something, but it turned out to be that simple. A few bolts, a few screws. Bam! You are done. The black rails look great on my white van. I kept putting off getting a ladder rack because I did not want to pay $700 to the local truck accessory guy buy and install it. Well, I just saved over $500 and it was simple!
