TSW is one of the few of those companies. It was established in 1967 by a former Formula One driver, Eddie Keizan, who used his prize money to start his own business. By inviting professionals he met on the track, he assembled a team dedicating their efforts to engineering and manufacturing light alloy wheels that can perform great on the race track or regular road while adorning the vehicle’s exterior and giving it a unique look.
TSW wheels have many advantages when compared to other aftermarket analogs, including their incredible strength while their weight is retained minimal. It is partly achieved thanks to the proprietary rotary forging technology. The light aluminum alloy billet is heated and rotated at high speed. It forces the molecular structure of the metal to change making it denser and stronger. Then, the end product is machined from the billet using modern CNC lathes.
