Toyota Gazoo Racing gave its tuner treatment to the Corolla in 2023 making the world’s favorite ever better. The Toyota GR Corolla is a great hot hatch that is available for sale in the USA, unlike the previously released Yaris GR. The newcomer is a great choice for those drivers who want something practical but fun to drive around. It can be further upgraded with Toyota GR Corolla accessories and parts from the aftermarket to meet particular driving needs even better. From custom license plates to seat covers and floor mats, there is a host of options to choose from.
To meet different drivers’ needs and wants, the newbie comes in two models: Core and Circuit Edition, which differ in a number of uniquely designed exterior and interior parts and accessories. Both models come with a revised version of the Corolla’s signature grille, fat fenders, a rear spoiler, and black alloy wheels that measure 18 inches in diameter and are shod in Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires. If your stock rubber is worn or doesn’t meet your driving conditions, you can find the right one in our selection of high-quality Toyota GR Corolla parts and accessories. The higher trim stands out from the base one with a larger spoiler at the rear and a hood bulge. It also got a carbon-fiber roof. The new hot hatch is slightly wider when compared to the regular hatchback model and has a reinforced frame for enhanced torsional rigidity.
To wit, there are additional welds around chassis joints along with more structural adhesive used between different glued components. To ensure a comfortable ride on the road, the car has an enhanced strut-type suspension up front and a multilink setup at the rear. Both models are powered by a 1.6-liter turbo three-cylinder engine that generates 300 horses and is mated to a six-speed Intelligent manual, which makes the model a solid choice for drivers who like the increased feeling of being in total control behind the wheel. The piston of each cylinder is cooled by multiple oil jets. There is also a machined intake port that ensures unobstructed air flow and large exhaust valves that allow spent gasses to escape quickly. Both GR Corolla models come with an all-wheel-drive setup with three power-distribution modes. So the driver can adjust the car’s performance to suit their driving conditions. As far as the interior is concerned, it looks very similar to the standard model.
