HardFold Hard Folding Tonneau Cover by TonnoPro®. The TonnoPro Hard Fold Folding Tonneau Cover has an extremely tough all-aluminum underbody frame covered with our highest marine grade vinyl on top. This impact resistant cover offers maximum security and durability with easy installation and operation. The Hard Fold won't scuff or dent like other all-aluminum hard folding covers and is engineered with our patented design to hold up to the toughest environments. To open the Hard Fold, simply unclamp the EZ lock handles and fold the cover towards the cab. When you need to haul larger cargo, the nylon cab straps hold the cover in the partially open position.
Installation
The HardFold Tonneau Cover is a hard shell locking cover which forms one solid, flush surface that’s impervious to the elements when closed. A thick, double-layer of vinyl is backed underneath by solid aluminum that forms an impenetrable shell that can support up to 350 pounds - giving you unparalleled security against the most determined of thieves and unparalleled strength to shield cargo from falling tree branches or other debris. The panels and aluminum framework fold in three sections – each of which releases sequentially from the rear of the truck forward with a quick turn of handles underneath, stacking on top of each other near the cab. Once the cover is folded closed, your vehicle’s locking tailgate handle provides protection from unwanted intruders. No drilling is needed for installation because the framework mounts directly to the underside of your truck’s bedrails with the use of aluminum E-Z clamps.
TonnoPro takes extra steps in the development of their vinyl material that, if eliminated, would not be visible to the naked eye. But if they were left off, this cover would not be as resistant to deteriorating, cracking, and discoloration under regular exposure to UV rays, acid rain, oily contaminants, and other airborne pollutants. TonnoPro is so confident the cover material will last and look good doing it, they warranty it for ten years. The corrosion-free aluminum frame features a limited lifetime warranty and is powder coated with a black ceramic finish that creates a protective surface resistant to scratches, chips, or stains.
