There is no doubt that the amount of horsepower your vehicle has under its hood is important if you are seeking to have a drive full of fun and excitement, but even the most powerful engine cannot give you that if the tires cannot grip properly. The installation of suitable tires will save the day. First of all, you have to pay attention to the tread design. To ensure firm contact with the road and, therefore, better grip, performance tires have fewer grooves which are also shallower than those of their regular counterparts.
The second thing that matters when choosing a set of performance tires is rubber compound. Usually, it is softer, which has to prevent spinning under acceleration and sliding when your vehicle is braking hard that otherwise may lead to unsafe situations. Also, when choosing new tires, you need to take into account all possible driving conditions. To help you choose the proper 15 inch performance tires, we have grouped them into different categories such as summer, winter, and all-season tires. The last of these three can provide year-round traction, while the first two groups are designed with certain weather conditions in mind.
