The Cybertruck represents Tesla’s vision of how the pickup truck of the future should look like. No more square bodies, massive grilles, traditional truck beds, or just about anything else that we’re used to seeing. The all-electric Tesla Cybertruck is sharply angular on the outside, and it looks more like a sci-fi hauler than a real-world vehicle. Its body, or “Exoskeleton,” as the company calls it, is made of ultra-strong cold-rolled stainless steel that is claimed to be almost impenetrable and very hard to dent or scratch. That also means no rust issues will ever arise. The bed—called the “vault”—measures industry-average 6.5 feet in length but it’s anything but average, with its sliding top cover and a tailgate with an integrated panel that transforms into a ramp to load an ATV or dirt bike. The Cybertruck is the first of its kind that already looks like no other vehicle on the road. But if anything, there is a wide range of Tesla Cybertruck accessories and parts already available.
The truck’s exterior is polarizing, but there is no denying it’s a serious performance machine under the skin. The top-spec version of the Cybertruck with a Tri Motor AWD setup hits 60 mph in under 3 seconds and provides 500 miles of range. The entry-level single-motor RWD and mid-range dual-motor AWD models are available, which can travel up to 250 or 300 miles, respectively. Those who are planning to venture off-road will appreciate the vehicle’s high ground clearance of 16 inches as well as a 35-degree approach angle and a 28-degree departure angle. Elon Musk’s supertruck is equipped with an adjustable air suspension and an on-board compressor. Even the entry-level variant offers 3,500-pound payload and 7,500-pound towing capacity, which increases to 14,000 pounds on the range-topping trim level.
The cabin is spacious enough to have seating for six adults. As expected from Tesla, the interior design is minimalist and futuristic. Angular lines dominate on the inside just like they do on the outside. The steering wheel is a major departure from the traditional design and looks more like it belongs to an aircraft. The dash is absolutely clean and clutter-free, with a giant 17-inch touchscreen controlling just about everything. If you think the interior could do with some improvements, look no further as we already have a selection of Tesla Cybertruck parts and accessories on offer.
