Oil Filler Cap by Stant®. This oil filler cap is designed to fit and function the same as the original equipment cap. It’s a direct replacement, made from premium materials and constructed for long lasting durability.

An oil filler cap may seem like an inconsequential component, but if yours is broken or missing you could have a major oil leak and an opening that could allow dirt and debris inside your engine, resulting in serious damage. This oil cap is made to original equipment specifications, to ensure perfect fit and function. It will provide a protective, leak free seal and allow easy removal so you can add oil when needed.

Warranty

Stant Corporation warrants qualifying Stant products against all defects when used on private passenger cars and light trucks under normal operating conditions for as long as such original purchaser owns the vehicle on which they were originally installed. Stant Corporations’ obligation under this warranty is limited to replacement of the defective product in accordance with this warranty. Cost of removal and installation are not included, and any incidental and consequential damages are excluded under this warranty. This warranty has no cash value. This warranty does not apply to products which have been modified, improperly applied or installed on vehicles used for commercial or racing purposes.

Damage to the product due to abuse, misuse, improper use, inadequate maintenance, or failure to follow published installation, use and service recommendations automatically voids this warranty.

THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER WARRANTIES, LIABILITIES, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES AND OBLIGATIONS, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, ON THE PART OF STANT CORPORATION. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state. Any implied warranties you may have under state law are limited to the same duration as this warranty. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations and exclusion may not apply to you.

Limited 90-Day Warranty

All other Stant Corporation products are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of purchase by the original retail purchaser. This warranty does not cover defects caused by improper installation or normal wear. Stant Corporation will, at its option, repair or replace any Stant branded product which it finds to be defective in material or workmanship. Damage to the product due to abuse, misuse, improper use, inadequate maintenance, or failure to follow published installation, use, and service recommendations automatically voids this warranty.

Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act:

Great Product

It is made of tough molded plastic. So I am able to make it as tight as I want. And I am sure it will not fail. This cap works as it should, so I am very pleased.
