Product Details

Halo Headlights by Spyder®. Improve your vision and your vehicle’s appearance with these bolt-on headlight assemblies. The projector beam headlights will produce a sharper, more focused beam of light for safer driving at night, the bright Halos and LED lights will make your vehicle more visible to other drivers, and the Halos, LEDs and custom headlight housing will give your ride an exclusive, unique look.

Installation

These projector headlights will benefit you and your car or truck in 2 ways. First you get superior illumination, which enables better vision in darkness and inclement weather, for safer driving. This is because the bulb in a projector headlight is positioned in front of an elliptical-shaped reflector. Where a conventional parabolic type reflector reflects light outward in a dispersed pattern, the elliptical reflector reflects the light toward a single focal point in front of the bulb. Projector headlights produce a sharper, more focused beam of light with less scatter loss. The second benefit is made possible because of the projector headlight’s smaller size in comparison to a conventional headlight. Without the need for a large parabolic reflector, the stylists at Spyder have used the increased space within the headlight housing to include Halos and LEDs, and work their styling magic to create the one-of-a-kind, custom designed Halo projector headlight with LEDs that you see on this page. Just by replacing your old, dim headlights you’ll gain a safer, more pleasurable driving experience, and give your vehicle an appearance makeover that will result in head turning looks.

Halo lights are one of the most popular trends in automotive lighting. The halo is a light ring that surrounds the headlight, for a distinctive look popularized by European luxury models. These halos are illuminated by 2 super bright LED bulbs. LED lights are the most advanced form of lighting. Their compact size makes it easy to arrange them in distinctive patterns, as seen on many late model luxury cars. They’re extremely durable, with an average lifespan of 30,000-100,000 hours, which means they’ll probably outlast the rest of your vehicle. The light they produce is much brighter and cleaner, much more attractive than incandescent light, which helps get them and the vehicle noticed, for increased visibility on the road and safer driving for you. The pattern of the LEDs in these lights is unique, so your ride will command attention wherever you go.

Every Spyder headlight undergoes a rigorous testing and quality control process before it leaves the factory. All wiring is tested to make sure the light is completely functional, and the housing is sealed with high quality silicone to ensure that no moisture can become trapped inside. Please check your state regulations to make sure whether smoke lights are street-legal. Spyder headlights are designed to exactly replace your factory lights; however some electrical wiring work may be required. Most lights come with detailed instructions to guide you through the installation.

These impeccably durable Spyder lights provide outstanding performance under the most extreme temperatures ranging from -40C - +80C as well as have superior voltage protection over and under 12.8V to prevent damage caused by overloading or short circuit.

Headlights Good, Bulbs Bad
The included bulbs burned out in less than two months. Go ahead and buy some good bulbs during initial installation

Worth Every Penny
Great looks! Didn't even need help installing, just watched a vid and got it done in like 2 hours. Lights are super sharp too.

Nice
The headlights are sweet but the installation videos for my truck are way off. They make it seem like the bumper fascia just comes off with the two bolts in the wheel well which is far from true. Nice product though, plan on six extra steps on the install that aren’t shown in the video.

A Trick to Adjust
The lights look great and work fine but not as bright as expected , I've had them on for a few months now but when installing them the alignment tabs bent so far out of shape I had to replace them with the old ones from the stock lights and the alignment screws are just way too long to the point of them hitting the core support for the radiator making it real difficult to adjust with them in.

Not Waterproof
Whenever it rains you will immediately have water in your headlights. Pretty garbage for 200+ dollar headlights. Seeing rain is inevitable it should at least have some levels of water resistance instead the water pools up around the inside edges, having said that there is no way these lights will last even a year.

A MUST HAVE!
Fast shipping and superior quality. Install was quick and easy. Some electrical experience is needed. A little adjustment and your good to go. Very good night time lighting, and it looks great with the halo. I would recommend to anyone looking to replace stock units. GREAT UPGRADE!!

Cool Looking but Not Durable
These were awesome looking on my black Dodge Dakota but only lasted about one and half years. The plastic mounts that hold the light assembly together broke and when driving down the road it made my lights bounce like a bobble head. Living in Minnesota the halos would not always work because of the extreme cold temperatures but expected that scenario the part that was not good was the boxes that run the halo would not stick or mount properly inside the light bay so they would loosely sit. Summary: they look great but do not last.

They Look Nice But
So Ive had these now for about six months and I got them right at the beginning of summer here in Southern Arizona Install went smooth in my Ford Excursion but its not for someone whos mechanically inept Theres a bit of cutting and possibly some wiring The end result is worth it both from an aesthetic and performance outlook in my opinion They look great and work okay at night Different bulbs possibly even LEDs might serve other people better But they sufficiently meet my needs at night So youre probably wondering why four stars then Well thats because I noticed theyre already showing UV damage I also noticed a warped spot that may have been overheated by the sun Some might feel that deserves more than one star knocked off but Im being realistic as my situation is extreme Two of those six months were hundred to hundred twenty degree temps without a cloud in the sky And the remaining four months didnt have much cloud coverage either So to say its pretty sunny out here would be an understatement My truck does not live in a garage It lives in the elements Even stock head lights dont last past a second summer without showing UV damage Maybe if you show proper care and use some kind of protection youll get better life out of them See the photos attached and make your own call Honestly Id still recommend these Hope this helps you make a choice Sorry for lack of punctuation For some odd reason the site would not let me submit the review with any puctuation
