This version can be fitted with smaller power units – a 1.0 L I3 good for either 59 hp or 70 hp and 0.9 L turbo I3 rated at 89 hp or 107 hp. 5-speed manual and 6-speed dual-clutch gearboxes are offered. A plug-in hybrid variant is available as well, using a turbocharged 1.5 L diesel I3, a pair of permanent-magnet motors and a li-ion battery. The max speed of the car is 84 mph and the all-electric range tops out at 20 miles. The electric Forfour can be ordered too, it comes with an electric motor generating 60 kW and offers nearly 100 miles of range.
