SCT Performance Programmers
To unleash the hidden power and get all the performance your vehicle is capable of, you need to recalibrate the PCM, and SCT Performance has the programmers to help you do it. SCT programmers come pre-loaded with dyno-proven performance tunes that will optimize your vehicle’s air/fuel ratio and engine timing curve, and modify hundreds of other parameters to maximize your vehicle’s performance, while maintaining reliability and driveability.
Pre-loaded tune files include 93, 91, 87 octane and economy as applicable, for gasoline engines, and Performance, Street, and Towing for diesel engines. Once the installation is completed, your vehicle will make more horsepower and torque, with improved throttle response. And if you’ve installed upgrades like a cold air intake system, performance exhaust, or changed the axle ratio, the SCT tuner will enable you to get the full benefit of these modifications.
SCT Performance has a programmer to suit every need and budget, from the SCT Livewire to the SCT X3 tuner. The SF3 Power Flash Programmer has a huge backlit LCD display and simple to use key pad, and it plugs into the OBD II port with the included cable. The Livewire TS Performance Programmer and Monitor also plugs into the OBD II port with a cable, but it features a full color 4” touch screen display with an appearance that can be customized with user selectable themes, colors, and gauge layouts. The iTSX for iOS/TSX for Android Wireless Programmer allows you to wirelessly recalibrate your PCM.
Your SCT Performance Programmer not only arrives pre-loaded with dyno-proven tune files, it’s also packed full of user adjustable tune options for tweaking your vehicle’s performance. It will allow you to add or remove fuel at Wide Open Throttle (WOT); add or remove ignition timing to the entire RPM range; set the tire size and/or axle ratio to correct shift patterns and speedometer error; select and adjust for aftermarket intake systems and cold air kits; select and adjust for different aftermarket MAF meters; remove, increase, or decrease speed/rev limiters; and much more.
