The Saab 9-7X was a mid-size crossover SUV produced from 2004 to 2008. It was built on the General Motors 360 platform, which was also used to construct such vehicles as the Buick Rainier, Oldsmobile Bravada, Chevrolet TrailBlazer, etc. Of course, the 9-7X had its own styling cues and some differences in design and settings, but still, it was equipped with the same V8 and I6 engines and a 4-speed automatic transmission as its siblings by GM. The 9-7X was the first vehicle by Saab which was completely assembled in the United States, and it became the most expensive company’s product in 2004. The model was specifically designed for the North American market and was not sold in Europe.
