Boards were very sturdy as advertised. But the mounting was something else. The instructions were horrible. There are pictures showing how thing are supposed to be, but they are black and white and so dark you cannot see what they are trying to show you. It says on the instructions that it only takes 90 mins to install wrong. It took most of the day. The kit also did not include any hardware, (nuts, bolts, washers of any kind) the shop had to go to the hardware store to purchase needed hardware. Not good. The shop quote me 1 hours labor to install as they have installed lots of running boards but this took the 4-6 hours. We agreed on 1.5 hours what the box said it should take to install. All and all the shop lost money installing these running boards. I personally know that they love them, I weight over 350# an they hold me up just great.

Perfect fit. Parts should be numbered for ease of installation.

I looked at these and Lavernes boards were mostly drilling (lots labor underneath a tight space), these bolted right up - very sturdy due to 2 8" wide braces in middle. The directions said 90 minutes to install, but it shouldn't take that long, I installed these for a local business and they loved them. I loved the no drilling.

The running boards are made of very good materials and quality for the price, also look great. The instruction were not so good. Part labeling and diagrams of part placement were lacking. Made installation twice as long and twice as hard.

The running boards look good, match the black on the van/pro master and it makes it going into the vehicle much easier.

Ford does not offer an accessory running board for the 2015 Transit. These worked out very well.

The mounting hardware is very robust but needs another mount on each side as the running boards sag when stepped on when entering my Ram van. The style of the running boards with the black plastic inserts matches the black plastic trim of my van and the extruded aluminum look is much more stylish than the pipe style of other manufactures. Installing the running boards had one problem which involved drilling out some of the holes on some body panels for the mounting bolts. This was easily solved with a stepped reamer from Harbor Freight. Took me about two hours of to do the job. I am pleased with the look and practical improvement for my passenger to enter and exit my vehicle.

The kit arrived in two boxes on two separate days. This was ok since I could not install it for a week. The installation instructions were only the basics and could have been made clearer. My issue was that the installation pictures showed the brackets with the front of the car shown, only to discover it was backwards. I had to swap sides to make the bolt holes line up. The second issue was that the vertical straight brackets, the slotted hole that bolts to the large bracket, were too small for the large supplied bolt. I had to drill out the holes to 1/2" because that is the next size drill bit I had up from 3/8". The running boards come with six bolts in two tracks, of which only 4 bolts can be bolted down to the brackets. The only way to remove the extra bolts from the track is to remove the end caps. I chose to leave them in place and tighten them down near the front bracket. The running boards look like they can be used on either side, so there is no left or right that I could tell. So, the ROMIK badge ended up on the back end of the car. Other than these issues, they went on ok and look good. They will help my wife now have a step to get into the car more easily. I hope Romik reads this and improves the directions for the specific vehicles and ensures all bracket holes are the proper size to make the kit truly a bolt-in installation.

Best running boards hands down. 100% perfect fitment with no drilling holes, and no modifications. Bracket are much heavier than I expected. Next accessory I need I will see if Romik offers it before looking anywhere else.
