Most cars and trucks built today have smooth, aerodynamic, gutterless roof lines. To safely carry cargo and sports gear on the roof of these vehicles you need a roof rack system with specially designed legs for secure attachment that won’t damage the vehicle. And if you carry more than the usual roof mounted accessories, and haul cargo like ladders and building supplies, you need a roof rack system that’s heavy-duty enough to bear the load. The Rhino-Rack 2500 Multi-Fit Heavy-Duty Roof Rack System has all the features you need and more, so you can mount Rhino-Rack luggage and travel, sporting and ladder carrying accessories, or haul whatever you picked up at the home center.

This Heavy-Duty Roof Rack System is designed to be quick and easy to install, with no special tools or vehicle modifications required, so you can get loaded up and be on your way. The foundation starts with 4 sturdy UV stabilized glass reinforced nylon legs that rest on specifically molded pads that have been specially designed to hug the contour of your vehicle’s roof. The legs are secured to the vehicle with custom designed clamps that fit the curves of the door jambs where they are attached. Each leg has a lockable cover to prevent theft of the rack and 2 keys are included.

Supporting the weight between the legs are 2 sturdy extruded structural grade aluminum cross bars. These bars feature super strong H-Frame construction with a wide protective rubber insert, to provide ample support for heavy loads and to keep cargo from sliding. The rubber insert can be removed to reveal the C-Channel, so accessories that require that method of attachment can be mounted.

The Rhino-Rack 2500 Multi-Fit Heavy-Duty Roof Rack System comes with detailed, illustrated instructions and it’s covered by a limited lifetime warranty to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship.

Warranty

Rhino-Rack goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

The benefits given to you by Rhino-Rack under this warranty are in addition to your other rights and remedies under a law in relation to the goods to which the warranty relates.

Subject to the conditions of this warranty, Rhino-Rack warrants the following products manufactured by Rhino-Rack will be free from any manufacturing defect in materials or workmanship for the following periods from the date of purchase (each a "Warranty Period"):

Lifetime for roof racks*;
1 year for products made from textile and fabric, locks and electrical components;
3 years for steel (ferrous) products and components;
5 years for all other products.
*Lifetime warranty applies on all Euro, Heavy Duty and Vortex cross bar systems and does not apply to Pioneer and other roof tray products.

Remedies

If a defect appears during the time periods referred to above, Rhino-Rack will, within a reasonable time of being notified of the warranty claim, repair or replace, at Rhino-Rack's option any defective product or defective component without charge for parts or labor.

Conditions and Exclusions

This warranty does not apply to:

any person other than the original retail customer or recipient of the product (in the case of acquisition as a gift or promotion) and it is not transferable.
any defect in materials or workmanship, if: the purchaser examined the product before having agreed to purchase the product and that examination ought reasonably to have revealed the defect; or the defect was specifically drawn to the purchaser's attention before the purchaser agreed to purchase the product;
failures caused by inadequate maintenance or non-compliance to fitting instructions supplied by Rhino-Rack. It is your responsibility to maintain the product adequately. Rhino-Rack recommends that this product be removed from your vehicle for regular cleaning and when not in use for extended periods. Any components subject to normal wear, degradation or consumption through use or exposure to the elements must be inspected periodically and replaced with Rhino-Rack parts as required;
any defects, loss or damage caused by a product being fitted to a non-compatible vehicle, for example, because of the vehicle's shape or build;
any defects, loss or damage caused by conditions beyond Rhino-Rack's control including, but not limited to any cost, loss, misuse, neglect, accidents, attachment of accessories not originating from Rhino-Rack, act of God, overloading beyond recommended capacity or other improper treatment of the product, including incorrect assembly or fitment by the purchaser, retailer or any other third party;
any defects or damage caused by modifications to the vehicle or the product or the user's failure to properly secure cargo as recommended by Rhino-Rack;
any consequential or incidental damage, including but not limited to damage to your vehicle, cargo or to any other person or property.

Rhino-Rack 2500 Heavy Duty Roof Rack System

Received rack promptly. All parts were included. Instructions could be clearer, but overall I was pleased with the prompt shipment and packaging. Took me about 2 hours to assemble and install on my F-150. It is one solid high quality rack! It is well worth the time it takes to install it. Once you are done, removal and reinstallation is a piece of cake. The instructions and decals provided allow you to put the rack back on exactly where it needs to go. Very pleased with my purchase.

One Screw Faulty

When trying to put it together I realized there was one screw that had messed up threads resulting in not being able to use it. As this was purchased in the off-season, it took quite a while before I noticed it. My bad for waiting so long to contact the company. It still is frustrating when you pay for something and one little screw sets you back. Otherwise, it seems like it would have been perfect.

Great Rack, but Wind Whistle

This one is great, and holds my kayak nicely. I already had the headliner out so installation was straightforward, but I wouldn't call it simple. Bolts were plenty long and had to be cut off to get the headliner back in. I like the way the rails attach to the track -- very easy but still sturdy. And when I take the rack off and put the caps over the mounting pedestals, you hardly notice there's anything there. Only problem is that it whistles badly -- possibly due to the ramp shape of the roof just in front of the forward rail of the rack. I covered the end caps on the rails, and that was not the problem. I'll cover the bottom track of that forward rail to solve it.

Great Product

I would give this 5 stars, but the only problem I had was that the bars made a howling noise at certain speeds. There are ways to mitigate and it's more of an inconvenience than an issue.

Very trustworthy, even with a kayak strpped to it. Only complaint is when it has nothing on tge rails, there's a light whistle.

Doing Good

Got it a bit ago because it came in right on time, but didn't put it on my car until recently. Didn't take long at all to put up and strapped a kayak to it that night. Was able to drive around with it up there with no worries. Only complaint is that when nothings strapped to the rails, there is a light whistle you hear when driving around but oh well I'm just happy to have rails that are trustworthy.

Awesome

I originally ordered an Amazon special trying to save money and be cheap, turned out to be junk, ordered this roof rack a few weeks ago, finally installed in on my 2013 Chevy Cruze, really solid, doesn't move at all. I really like it, installation was fairly easy, highly recommend if you want something solid.
