The warning light that appears on the dash in the event of an underinflated tire, and the tire air pressure that is displayed on some vehicles, is the end result of a complex system. A typical Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) starts with the TPMS sensors at each wheel. These sensors wirelessly transmit air pressure (and on some vehicles tire temperature) data that is picked up by one or more antennas and sent to a TPMS receiver, which transfers the information to a computer where it is displayed on the instrument panel. We have what you need to keep your system functioning for safe driving.
While TPMS sensor failure is the most common TPMS system problem, if testing reveals that all sensors are good, there could be a fault with the antenna(s), receiver, module or system wiring. We have the diagnostic tools that will enable you to pinpoint the problem. We offer tools that can be used to test sensors, as well as scan tools that can be plugged into the OBD-II port and display DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes). You may also need to test voltage and resistance at wiring, connectors and individual components with a (Digital Volt Ohm Meter), which you’ll also find on our digital shelves.
If testing points to a faulty receiver, control module, or other TPMS component, there’s no reason to pay high dealer prices for a replacement. We offer quality replacement parts made by top suppliers, which will fit and function perfectly for less cash. Our replacement parts are made to original equipment specifications, and many of our suppliers also produce parts for the vehicle manufacturers. Armed with our programming & diagnostic tools and replacement parts, you can repair your TPMS system, turn off that dash light, and enjoy safe driving, knowing that your TPMS system is functioning properly.
