Warranty

What is covered - Replace products are protected by an industry-leading Limited Lifetime Warranty on replacement headlights, side mirrors, plastic and steel bumper covers, fenders, hoods, grilles and other automotive and truck replacement parts. Replace warrants its parts to be free from defects in material and workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the vehicle on which the part is installed. The Limited Lifetime Warranty includes perforation (metal rust-through) due to corrosion in normal use.

What is not covered - Because this warranty applies to defects in materials and workmanship, it does not apply to normal worn parts, damage resulting from road hazards, gravel, debris, adjustments or damage caused by misuse, neglect, lack of maintenance, accident, abnormal operation, improper installation, conditions that cause failure to the vehicle’s warning devices, alteration or removal of the parts. Warranty does not include costs associated with part removal, installation, inconvenience or consequential damages. This warranty does not apply to fleet or commercial vehicles. It is not covered if rusting is due to salt/chemical use on the road to remove the snow, and it applies to all chrome wheels as well.

All incidental or consequential damages are excluded from this warranty. Some states do not allow exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

First Time Changing an Engine

Replace® DCT28 - Remanufactured Long Block Engine

Engine arrived in a black plastic crate, that is used for the core return. I had never changed an engine before, this is definitely the way to go if you need a new engine. Once the engine was in, it started on the first crank and has run great so far.

New Jeep JK Engine

Well I was very impressed at how fast I got my engine it all looked brand new installation was straight forward and relatively easy if you are mechanically inclined. However when I purchased the engine the description said it came only with the oil pump assembly, when it arrived it was also shipped with a full gasket kit. I wish I had known it came with all that because I would not have spent an extra $300 on gasket kits but it’s ok it just left me with a bunch of spares. Overall extremely satisfied with my new reman engine.

10K Miles and No Issues

Replace® DFFR - Remanufactured Long Block Engine

I bought the engine a year ago and have had zero issues with it. The inclusion of a new pcv and pcv plate were nice additions. It was also nice that the motor came already set in time. As well as coming with almost everything to install the engine including injector seals, intake manifold gasket, exhaust gasket and every other gasket you could need. The only things not included was the oil pan, valve cover, and water pump. Since owning I've put a little more than 10k miles on it of mixed highway and city driving. My car has a couple aftermaket parts and a tune (nothing crazy/stock turbo) and the engine has held up just fine 10/10 .

New Engine For My Truck

Needed a new engine for my truck and it was a real task to find something compatible with my model. Finally saw it at CARiD. It is pricey. Already have it installed and so far it's working great! I would say this engine is even better then the factory one - it is made to last! Hope it will work in future.

Excellent Product!

My old engine worked fine but was leaking a lot of oil, it was too expensive to find the oil leak. I opted to replace the engine and I am glad I did!
