VEHICLE PROCUREMENT

Replace has access to the broadest range of late-model vehicles. Their procurement standards are the strictest in the industry, and any vehicle that does not meet the criteria is rejected.

INSPECTION AND IDENTIFICATION STANDARDS

Replace proactively uses VIN matching to ensure the integrity of their recycled inventory, and the company provides consistent and accurate product descriptions. As a result, the products fit and perform as you need and expect.

AFTERMARKET PARTS PROCUREMENT

Building a part the right way is important to all of the manufacturing partners. Years of experience, integrity and ingenuity are what sets them apart from the rest. Replace performs both internal testing and hires independent testing agencies to evaluate the quality of their parts. They do not procure parts that compromise safety.

MULTIPLE PRE-DELIVERY QUALITY CHECKS

All parts are carefully inspected throughout the dismantling and order-fulfillment process. The first quality inspection happens before a part can even be added to the inventories. After your order is placed, all recycled auto body parts – including sheet metal, doors, hoods for example, are cleaned and inspected one final time before being placed on the delivery truck.

Company employees stay up-to-date in the latest quality and safety regulations by receiving regular training in those areas. Employees in direct contact with customers provide valuable feedback for quality improvements.

Replace parts are put through rigorous testing and independent third-party certifications comparable to OEM manufacturers.

NSF QUALITY ASSURANCE

NSF is a globally recognized, not-for-profit, non-governmental, independent organization that specializes in standards development, product certification, education and risk management for public health and safety. Replace is the first recipient of NSF’s Automotive Collisions Parts Distributor Certification. This certification program demonstrates that distributors have quality management systems that address product traceability and recall processes for collision parts. To further aftermarket part quality assurance, the AQRP (Assured Quality Replacement Parts) program was developed by NSF at the request of Replace.

Essential to insurance adjustor quality requirements and repair shop owner credibility, AQRP validates that collision parts are free from defects in material and workmanship and are functionally equivalent to the OE replacement part in respect to safety, crash performance, form, fit, finish, function, appearance, product life and corrosion resistance. Further, NSF audits approved suppliers annually, and all certified parts are entered into an AQRP product listing. Notably, parts are registered by invoice and can be tracked to the vehicle installation, and in the unlikely event it ever should be necessary, a product recall procedure is in place. AQRP parts meet the quality requirements of major national insurance companies.

CAPA CERTIFICATION

Additionally, third-party aftermarket auditor CAPA (Certified Automotive Parts Association), oversees testing and inspection of nearly 5,000 Replace aftermarket parts. CAPA Certification is an important validation for parts distributors, insurance adjustors, body shops and car owners. CAPA certified parts meet standards for fit, component materials and corrosion resistance. The CAPA Quality Seal is placed only on products meeting CAPA’s strict quality step requirements.

ARA CERTIFICATION

Replace is committed to providing the highest quality standards in the recycled and aftermarket parts industry. In fact, their quality control standards and high-quality vehicle parts have given them recognition through the Automotive Recycling Association’s (ARA) Gold Seal certification.

The Automotive Recycling Association’s Gold Seal Certification is only given to professional members of the ARA who have completed the Certified Automotive Recycler’s Program, ensures excellence in customer satisfaction through improved customer service, quality parts with accurate descriptions, reliable on-time deliveries and written product warranties.
