Product Details

Fuel Tank by Replace®. Fuel tanks can be made of steel or plastic. Both kinds can fail due to fuel leaks or impact damage, such as would occur if the vehicle runs over debris in the road, or collides with an obstacle while driving off-road. If you're in need of a fuel tank, don't pay the high dealer price for a replacement, when you can get an OE quality fuel tank for much less from Replace.

Steel fuel tanks are susceptible to rust, which if left unchecked can develop into pinhole leaks. Rust can also clog fuel filters, carburetor passages and fuel injectors, causing any number of starting and drivability problems. In its location underneath the vehicle, a steel fuel tank is exposed to water, snow, ice and road salt, all of which can cause rust. Condensation can build up inside the gas tank and cause it to rust from the inside. Plastic fuel tanks can develop cracks, with resulting fuel leaks. You may have seen gas tank sealer and repair products, but why waste your time on something that may not do the job, and why risk the safety of you and your passengers. Gasoline is a very volatile substance. There’s no need to attempt a repair when you can get a brand new fuel tank from Replace at such a great value.

In the past if you needed a fuel tank you had to pay for an expensive replacement from the dealer. Today you can fix your car or truck properly and have money left in your pocket with a quality replacement fuel tank from Replace. Replace offers OE quality fuel tanks at less than original equipment prices. You get the same quality part that you’d get at the dealer without the high dealer price. A Replace fuel tank will look, fit and function just like a fuel tank from the dealer, so the fuel system in your car or truck will perform properly. Replace fuel tanks are designed using the latest software so they exactly replicate the OE units, then they’re manufactured using the most modern tooling, so the end product looks, fits and functions exactly as designed.

Repairing your car or truck is expensive enough without paying more than necessary for quality parts. A Replace fuel tank is the sensible alternative to the high dealer price markup. A Replace fuel tank will get your car or truck operating perfectly again, without breaking the bank. Replace is so confident in the quality of its parts that they’re backed by a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the vehicle on which the part is installed.

Perfect Experience
When I called CARiD, I was asked back about the original number of the factory installed tank. I did not know that and had to call dealership. When I found out this number, I called back, and sales manager offered me this tank. I was not sure if I should buy here or not, but he sent me a link to this page at the end of our conversation. When I compared the prices, I found that was a good deal. I called again, and sales manager (Victor was his name) placed an order for me. He also issued a gift certificate for my next purchase. Now I have both easily installed fuel tank of a good quality and a good discount for my next purchase here. Perfect service!

Quality
There are particles inside of the tank when I opened it, so I would recommend you rinse it before installation. Fit and finish of the product is great on my 1998 Honda Accord Sedan.

1985 Toyota Pickup 52 Liters Fuel Tank
Fuel tank matched perfectly the old one, construction and design identical to the OEM. The only complaint is the packaging, if the product is better protected with some foaming material it could be delivered in excellent condition, however mine came with a small dent on top of the tank by the breather tube. Thank you.

Happy But Sad
Ordered a fuel tank, straps and locking ring for the fuel pump which made me happy. Received in great shape and very prompt. Sad because I ordered the locking ring because no where did it say that one was included. Now I have a part that I don't need. Would cost more to return.
