Replace Accessories

Coolant Recovery Tank by Replace®. Coolant recovery tanks can crack and leak coolant, and also become discolored from contaminated coolant. Most recovery tanks are translucent, with fill indicators on the side of the tank, so discoloration may make it hard to judge the coolant level. Whatever the defect, if you’re in need of a replacement tank don’t pay the high price at the dealer when you can get an OE quality replacement at a great value from Replace.

Replace - QualityReplace - WarrantyReplace - About

  • Same quality as OE for less money
  • Designed with the latest software and manufactured with modern tooling
  • Direct replacement
  • Installs the same as factory unit
  • Same dimensions as OE part
  • Same gauge material as OE
  • No vehicle modifications required for installation
  • Backed by a limited lifetime warranty

The coolant recovery tank is part of a sealed cooling system. When hot coolant expands and exceeds the capacity of the radiator, the excess coolant flows into the recovery tank. When the engine cools, coolant is drawn by vacuum back into the radiator. The recovery tank is usually marked with a "Full Cold" indicator, which leaves a lot of space for excess coolant when it's hot.

In the past if you needed a coolant recovery tank you had to pay for an expensive replacement from the dealer. Today you can fix your car or truck properly and have money left in your pocket with a new quality replacement recovery tank from Replace. Replace offers OE quality recovery tanks at less than original equipment prices. You get the same quality part that you'd get at the dealer without the high dealer price. A Replace recovery tank will look, fit and function just like a recovery tank from the dealer, so the cooling system in your car or truck will perform properly. Replace recovery tanks are designed using the latest software so they exactly replicate the OE units, then they're manufactured using the most modern tooling, so the end product looks, fits and functions exactly as designed.

Repairing your car or truck is expensive enough without paying more than necessary for quality parts. A Replace recovery tank is the sensible alternative to the high dealer price markup. A Replace recovery tank will get your car or truck operating perfectly again, without breaking the bank. Replace is so confident in the quality of its parts that they're backed by a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the vehicle on which the part is installed.

When selecting the Replace® component that is right for your model from the Product Options list, you may be offered a choice of Good, Better or Best. Good may be a part manufactured by a different company than the one that made the original part, but because it's based on the same design, it will look and function identically to the OE part. Better may be a part made by a brand name manufacturer and Best may be a part made by the same manufacturer that made the original part. Some parts labeled Best bear the seal of the Certified Automotive Parts Association (CAPA), an independent, non-profit organization that oversees a testing program to guarantee the quality of automotive parts. CAPA certified replacement parts meet the industry's toughest standards. But regardless of how the part is labeled, have confidence that whichever one you choose, it will appear and function to your satisfaction.

Warranty Information

What is covered - Replace products are protected by an industry-leading Limited Lifetime Warranty on replacement headlights, side mirrors, plastic and steel bumper covers, fenders, hoods, grilles and other automotive and truck replacement parts. Replace warrants its parts to be free of defects in material and workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the vehicle on which the part is installed. The Limited Lifetime Warranty includes perforation (metal rust-through) due to corrosion in normal use.

What is not covered - Because this warranty applies to defects in materials and workmanship, it does not apply to normal worn parts, damage resulting from road hazards, gravel, debris, adjustments or damage caused by misuse, neglect, lack of maintenance, accident, abnormal operation, improper installation, conditions that cause failure to the vehicle’s warning devices, alteration or removal of the parts. Warranty does not include costs associated with part removal, installation, inconvenience or consequential damages. This warranty does not apply to fleet or commercial vehicles.

All incidental or consequential damages are excluded from this warranty. Some states do not allow exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

Made In Taiwan....
Overall, it saved me a lot of money compared to dealer prices. The mounting holes did not match up (1 out of 3), and the factory mounting screws were too short (3 out of 3). It was good enough to replace the original.
