Vehicle & Parts Protection
Since its release in 2015, the Renault KWID has built a steadily growing reputation as a reliable daily driver with enough cargo space for long-distance errands. This entry-level crossover is a solid choice for young drivers looking for something good-looking, practical, and stable on the road. The vehicle has got a number of upgrades and been introduced to different markets since it went on sale in India. Despite the KWID is an entry-level SUV, it doesn’t look like that. It has an up-to-date design with many attractive accessories all around. To make it look even better, many owners turn to the aftermarket with its extensive selection of Renault KWID accessories and parts. The finest of them are showcased on our digital shelves.
At the time, it was the first vehicle to sit on the CBF-A platform. It was offered with either a 0.8 or 1.0-liter three-cylinder engine. The small unit generates 53 horsepower, while the bigger one is capable of producing 67 horsepower. Those numbers aren’t very exciting but are enough to navigate around the city and drive on the highways. Engine power is routed to the wheels via either a standard five-speed manual transmission or an optional automated manual one. In 2017, the KWID was heavily revised to hit the Brazilian market. It got a reinforced structure and standard four airbags to meet the regulations. On the mechanical side of things, the 0.8-liter engine didn’t come to Brazil. This version also got a handful of reworked parts inside and out. But be that as it may, it wasn’t an all-new model. Two years later, it was introduced to the Mexican market.
For the 2019 model year, the KWID got a number of upgrades that aimed to make it even more appealing to customers. As far as styling is concerned, the vehicle received a new chrome grille, slightly reshaped roof, integrated roof spoiler, etc. Technology-wise, it was blessed with a reverse parking camera and a multimedia touchscreen. Probably the biggest 2019 change is the increased ground clearance. It is now about 71 inches for enhanced off-road capability. The SUV also got new 14-inch wheels. However, before taking to the backroads, many owners make some mods to their vehicles to tailor them to their specific needs. For instance, some of them install custom rims that make an SUV look unique. If anything, they can be of a bigger or smaller size depending on the particular driving needs. Others replace their tires with aftermarket options that meet their road and weather conditions better. Suspension upgrades and breathing mods are other popular modifications drivers make to their vehicle. Whatever your project, we have all the required Renault KWID parts and accessories to fulfill it.
