The Renault Kangoo is a tried and true van that has been handling varying commercial and personal needs of customers around the world since 1997. Everyday usability and low cost of ownership made it the best-selling LCV (light commercial vehicle) in Europe. The Kangoo comes in passenger and cargo versions and can be had as a standard-length model, a short-wheelbase Compact, or as an extended-wheelbase Express Maxi van. It is also available as an all-electric Renault Kangoo ZE van. There are enough variants for customers to configure their small van, however, different uses require different add-ons that will make your vehicle more suitable for the particular needs of your business or your personal preferences. Here you'll find a broad variety of Renault Kangoo accessories to upfit your van for commercial hauling as well as replacement parts and fluids to keep it up and running.
The first-generation Kangoo received three facelifts that brought it a range of improvements inside and out, a four-wheel-drive version, and some powertrain revisions. The van embarked on its second generation in 2008. Essentially, the new Kangoo wasn't a far cry from the previous model design-wise, although it became wider and longer and thus got more interior space and payload capacity. More importantly, it got new engines capable of producing more power, starting with a 1.5-liter dCI and ending with a 1.6-liter gasoline unit. The latter is a range-topping offering that makes 110 hp and attains a top speed of 105.6 mph.
Engines at the lower end of the spectrum are paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox, while higher-powered units come with a 6-speeder. A 6-speed dual-clutch automatic is an available option. In Europe, diesel engines are the most popular choice due to fuel savings. In this market, the 1.5-liter diesel is available in three power outputs, developing 75, 89, and 108 horsepower. The Mexican market got the van with a 1.6-liter naturally-aspirated gas engine that puts out 115 hp and 115 lb-ft of torque and is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
European customers can get their hands on the uprated Kangoo Power Traction that offers increased ride height and is equipped with parts that make it more off-road-ready, including mud tires, skid plates, and a mechanical limited slip diff. The Kangoo ZE powered solely by electricity first went on sale in 2011. Although its lithium-ion battery pack provides a modest 59 hp and around 100 miles of range, the ZE model managed to become the world's best-seller among plug-in electric utility vehicles. The Kangoo van has a well-deserved reputation for reliability and practicality. Our replacement parts will help you keep it well-maintained, while a selection of accessories will aid you in configuring your van to your needs.
