Disc Brake Dust Shields by Rekudo®. These front brake dust shields are a supporting part for the REKUDO Suspension and JL8 Brake System. The 4-wheel disc brake upgrade was offered as a "Heavy Duty Service" package sold through the parts counter at Chevrolet car dealers. In 1969, the 4-piston disc brakes could be ordered as a Regular Production Option (RPO) JL8 package on production vehicles. These high-end brakes were made available to support racing programs like the Sports Car Club of America® (SCCA), and Trans-Am® road racing series. This unique brake option is very rare and was only sold on about 200 production vehicles.

Rekudo Limited Warranty

This Rekudo limited warranty is extended to the original purchaser only. This limited warranty is not assignable or otherwise transferable. There are no warranties that extend beyond those stated herein. Rekudo offers no other warranties expressed or implied beyond this limited warranty. In the event of an alleged defect in material or workmanship, Rekudo’s responsibility is strictly limited to repair or replace the defective product. Rekudo has no other obligation expressed or implied. Final warranty determination will be in the sole discretion of Rekudo. Rekudo shall not be responsible for; (a) actual or alleged labor, transportation, or other incidental charges; or (b) actual or alleged consequential or other damages incurred by use of any product of Rekudo. To initiate the warranty process, the customer must return the alleged defective product to the place of purchase with a dated receipt. Warranty claims will be rejected if the date of purchase cannot be established by the customer. Do not send products directly to Rekudo. Rekudo assumes no responsibility for products sent directly to Rekudo. This limited warranty sets forth specific legal rights. The customer may have other rights as a result of variations in state laws or provincial laws. This limited warranty supersedes all prior warranty statements.

Rekudo Shocks – New Product

New Rekudo shocks are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase. This Rekudo limited warranty specifically does not apply to products, which have been (a) modified or altered in any way; (b) subjected to adverse conditions, such as misuse, neglect, accident, improper installation or adjustment, dirt or other contaminants, water, corrosion, or faulty repair; or (c) used in other than those applications recommended by Rekudo. Rekudo also does not warrant and disclaims all liability for products used in racing activities and/or applications other than those specifically recommended.

Other Rekudo Products (Except Shocks)

New Rekudo parts are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of purchase. The Rekudo limited warranty specifically does not apply to products, which have been (a) modified or altered in any way; (b) subjected to adverse conditions, such as misuse, neglect, accident, improper installation or adjustment, dirt or other contaminants, water, corrosion, or faulty repair; or (c) used in other than those applications recommended by Rekudo. Rekudo also does not warrant and disclaims all liability for products used in racing activities and/or applications other than those specifically recommended.
