Product Details

RS7MT Shocks and Struts by Rancho®. From the pavement to the trail, the new Rancho RS7MT™ monotube shocks are made for adventure. A complete performance upgrade for your vehicle suspension system, Bring It with RS7MT shocks. Engineered to help you handle anything that comes your way, the RS7MT shocks are application-tuned for precision on-road and off-road handling.

MONOTUBE DESIGN

Highly effective in the dissipation of heat, RS7MT shocks are ideal for off-road use, and larger wheel and tire packages. Featuring an integrated dirt wiper sealing system that keeps dirt and debris out, the RS7MT has a hardened piston rod that resists scuffs and corrosion plus an internal rebound bumper to smooth out your ride on any terrain. In addition, the RS7MT reduces fade and provides responsive damping for a better ride on- and off-road.

Benefits:

  1. Deflective Disc Valving features digressive, linear or progressive turning based on application requirements for precision handling and performance on- and off-road.
  2. Features a 14mm hardened chrome piston rod to resist scuffs and corrosion, double-welded loops at stress areas, double-strength closure method, and hot form reserve tube
  3. Large 2" monotube body filled with all-weather fluid allows for cooler operation, increased vehicle control, and ability to withstand internal temperatures of -40 to 248 Degrees F
  4. Full-floating dividing piston and high-pressure nitrogen gas maintains constant pressure against the hydraulic oil, reducing aeration and shock fade
  5. Internal rebound bumper and shouldered rubber bushings help reduce noise, vibration and ride harshness, while the PTFE-banded piston enhances responsiveness to changing road conditions for an overall smoother ride
  6. Designed to fit right out of the box, application-specific mounting installs easily with no need for installing sleeves or extra hardware
  7. Sealing system with integrated dirt wiper helps keep moisture, dirt and debris from being ingested into the shock and contaminating the oil and destroying the internal seal
  8. Large 46mm fluon-banded piston for consistent sealing between the piston and monotube for precise control, ride and handling; for extra protection, shock boot RS1952 and RS1961 are available for purchase
  9. Black satin finish with distinctive Rancho red logo for an eye-catching look that stands out

Very Pleased
Love my shocks, just can't find which bushings go with them because I lost two of them.

Great Shocks
These are great shocks. Greatly improved the ride from the older factor shocks. The only small thing that I didnt think about, these shocks have more give which gives the smoother ride but they also allow the truck to set lower unloaded and squat more when pulling trailer. Just something to keep in mind but for sure not a deal breaker. I love the smoother ride.

Don't Waste Your Money!
I replaced the 8 year old OEM shocks and struts on my pickup with these Rancho 5000Xs. The struts are good so far, but the shocks are trash. Every bump and dip in the road leaves the rear end bouncing like Uncle Buck's Mercury. 10 out of 10 DO NOT recommend.

The product looks great! I use this product to convert my air suspension to the strut system. So far the rancho has kept up to the Driving quality I was expecting. Keep it up!

Suspension Struts/Coil
Both suspension struts came in great condition. Were sent in a timely fashion. I was not able to install them myself and brought them to a place that was doing other work on my vehicle. When they were installing them they found out that they were both right ones and not a right one and a left one as ordered. Must have been boxed incorrectly. They looked it up on the computer and were able to turn one of them into a left one so all worked out well and I am very satisfied with the outcome.
