Racing Fuel Pressure Regulators

Purpose-built competition mills vary in their designs, yet each of them is constructed with horsepower and torque in mind. For engines to be able to provide maximum possible power, they require the proper amount of fuel to be delivered at sufficient pressure. This is why no matter the type of the fuel delivery system, it requires fuel pressure regulators operating at their peak. As their name suggests, these units are designed to regulate the pressure of the fuel within the system. They can not only increase but also lower it depending on need.

To meet various customers’ needs and requirements, those regulators are available in an extensive range of sizes and designs to complement different system configurations. In addition, they are compatible with various fuels including alcohol and gasoline. Available in multiple types, they come in useful when a vehicle is upgraded with forced induction, larger injectors, etc. Typically, these regulators are made of durable billet aluminum which ensures they can withstand harsh racing conditions. Whatever your needs may be, you will certainly find just the right product for your upgrade project or repair job.

Sometimes, regulators require replacement. However, there are a number of symptoms associated with their failure so you can always replace worn units timely. First and probably most common is a decrease in acceleration and power. Besides, racers can experience misfires. Other symptoms of a faulty fuel pressure regulator are fuel leaks and black smoke from the exhaust system. Whether you have noticed one or several signs, don’t wait too long to replace your worn or damaged unit to restore your vehicle to its peak performance.

Old School-Carburetor with an Old AOD and Y pipe Headers
Worked perfect, installed with two Aeromotive gauges for both return and dead end regulators and a shut of valve coming off of the dead end regulator, get a good shut off value, the first one I got leaked, the second one leaked, then paid for a good one and it did not leak!
