The first-generation Pontiac Sunbird was launched in September 1975. It was a subcompact sporty-styled car introduced in response to the success of the Ford Capri and Nissan 200SX. Built on the GM H-body platform, the Sunbird was largely sharing the underpinnings with the Chevrolet Vega. The second and, then, the third generation of the Sunbird (represented in 1982 and in 1988 respectively) were significantly redesigned as compared to the predecessor. They got a brand new J-body platform with a front-wheel-drive layout, a new look, and a great number of options not available for the first generation. The model was discontinued in 1994 being succeeded by the Sunfire.
When the suspension parts suffer damage or wear over time, the vehicle’s operation might also suffer. It can worsen the controllability and ride comfort of the vehicle. Replace malfunctioning suspension components once you detect them if you don't want to face any serious vehicle troubles. We’re ready to supply you with a full range of Pontiac Sunbird replacement suspension parts that could be necessary for your restoration works. Make use of our online service any time convenient for you.
