The Aztek had one of the highest CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) scores among the mid-size SUVs sold in the USA at the time. However, its exotic and very futuristic exterior design received a mixed reception, resulted in a poor demand and fast ceasing that occurred in 2005. The Aztek appeared in the AMC series Breaking Bad, being in shot together with the show's protagonist Walter White.
