Previously known for building high-performance motorsports vehicles powered by gasoline engines, Polestar is currently Volvo’s stand-alone electric vehicle brand. For 2023, it is rolling out its third production model, namely the Polestar 3. It is a stylish and maneuverable SUV with a spacious cabin that’s similar to that of a minivan. However, the 3 isn’t available with three rows of seats. As is customary with the other two vehicles from the brand, its interior wears a minimalistic design rendered in high quality materials. All interior parts and accessories are designed with style and practicality in mind. Want to make the cabin of your SUV look and feel more luxurious or sportier? You can go an aftermarket route. There are lots of custom leather seat covers, floor mats, steering wheel covers, and many other Polestar 3 accessories and parts available to choose from.
The Polestar 3 is the first vehicle from the brand to be built in the USA (at Volvo’s new plant in South Carolina, to be exact). This model rides on a new platform developed especially for battery-electric vehicles. It is said to underpin all future EVs from Volvo and Polestar. Buyers can pick between a single- and dual-motor version. The latter has an electric motor on each axle for all-wheel drive which provides better traction in slippery conditions such as rain and snow. Both versions come with a larger battery pack that provides up to 372 miles of range, and that makes it a good choice for both short and long trips. What’s more important, the SUV is equipped with Volvo’s lidar technology which allows for full self-driving.
The Polestar 3 also got a bunch of safety and driver-assistance features to make the driver feel more confident behind the wheel along with the latest version of an Android Automotive OS entertainment system developed by Google to make every ride an enjoyable experience. The above-mentioned system has many Google apps as standard including Google Maps. On the outside, the Polestar 3 is designed with aerodynamics in mind and borrows many styling tweaks from the Precept, a concept car introduced to the public in 2020. It features a streamlined roofline, dramatic wheel arches, and trunk wing. Up front, you’ll see the split Thor’s Hammer LED headlights. LED tail lights span the width of a vehicle making it look wider than it actually is. Just like many other recently released SUVs, the model features black plastic cladding around its body and wheel arches which makes it look beefier. Surely, there is always room for personalization. To wit, you can make your SUV look more unique by upgrading it with custom license plates, rims, and so on. These and many other Polestar 3 parts and accessories are readily available in our store.
