The Nissan Z came to replace the glorious 370Z, and it is neither all-new from the ground up nor facelifted and marketed as a new model. Just like its predecessor, the new Z car is a two-seat coupe that provides affordable driving thrills, while kicking things up a notch with savage turbo power. The newcomer’s appeal lies in its rear-wheel-drive architecture, the availability of a manual transmission, classic proportions that are a joy to the eye, and a bargain price. Of course, it is a strong performer and a looker in its stock condition, but naturally, upgrades are on just about any Z car owner’s list. Our selection of Nissan Z accessories and parts comes from some of the most recognized aftermarket brands and contains everything needed for your project.

The new sports car builds on a modified version of the FM platform that underpinned the 370Z and is used for some other Nissan vehicles. Drivetrain parts including the driveshaft, axles, and diff are shared with the predecessor, too. To the delight of driving enthusiasts, a three-pedal setup is on the menu, with the six-speed manual gearbox taken directly from the outgoing model. Those who prefer automatic shifting are offered a new 9-speed auto with paddle shifters. This time around, the transmissions are bolted to a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 that makes 400 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque.

For its first 2023 model year, the Nissan Z is available in Sport and Performance trim levels plus the Proto Spec launch edition. The Z Performance nets buyers a specifically-tuned suspension, 19-inch Rays rims with staggered tires, 4-piston brake calipers up front, a dual exhaust system, front and rear spoilers, and launch control on automatic gearbox equipped models. The base Z Sport rides on 18-inch alloy wheels and features LED headlights, cloth seats, and a wide range of driver aids. There aren’t too many options on offer, but with an endless variety of Nissan Z parts and accessories available in the aftermarket, it’s not going to be an issue. The new Z coupe has a handsome interior design that combines retro and modern touches. A 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster is standard, as is an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which can be upgraded to a 9.0-inch display with navigation. The dash is topped by three analog gauges that show turbocharger RPM, boost, and voltage.
