However, unlike the Micra which came with a supercharged 1.2L I3 in Europe, all of the Mexican Marches received a more powerful 1.6-liter inline-four (HR16DE). The motor develops 106 hp and is mated to a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission. In fact, it's a perfect powerplant for such a car, offering an almost ideal balance between power, fuel economy, reliability, and long service life at minimal expense. In 2014, the March was facelifted and got a sportier look and some new features.
