Ford Motor Company offers a limited warranty on new Motorcraft parts sold to U.S. customers. Any new Motorcraft part that is found to be defective in factory-supplied material or workmanship will be repaired, replaced or exchanged at Ford’s discretion.

24 months/unlimited miles (No commercial exceptions)
Warranty begins on the date of purchase or date of installation

Warranty Limitations

This warranty does not cover parts that fail due to abuse, misuse, neglect, alteration, impact, accident, racing or the use of non-Ford parts, or parts installed in vehicles other than those listed in Ford authorized catalogs, including other Ford Motor Company brands, or parts that are replaced as a part of normal maintenance.

To the extent allowed by law: loss of time, inconvenience, loss of use of the vehicle, commercial loss and consequential damages are not covered.

There is no other express warranty on Ford Motor Company-supplied replacement parts, except such obligation as Ford may have assumed in its FCSD Warranty and Policy Manual.

Any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose is limited to the duration of this warranty. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of consequential or incidental damages or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts; therefore, the limitations and exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that vary from state to state.

Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act:

Legally, a vehicle manufacturer cannot void the warranty on a vehicle due to an aftermarket part unless they can prove that the aftermarket part caused or contributed to the failure in the vehicle (per the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. 2302(C)) Learn More

New Motorcraft A/C Compressor-1991 F150

Bought the whole system through CARiD - Motorcraft compressor; Four Seasons liquid line, discharge line, and accumulator; Spectra condenser, and one of each of the two Motorcraft orifice tubes (red and blue, since I did not know which one was used on my 1991 Ford F150 XLT Lariat, 5.0L, 4x2, AOD, with factory cruise and A/C. As it turned out, the blue orifice tube was the right one for my truck and, unknown to me and the CARiD salesperson, it was included inside one of the Four Seasons lines (which one we don't know because my mechanic installed the system and did not recall). CARiD happily refunded both of the unneeded orifice tubes. We had to add a new evaporator the same day the system was installed. The mechanic got it somewhere local. The whole system is now blowing cool air! Thanks CARiD.

2011 V6 AC

Shipping was 2 days later than the website originally stated. A good product that was an easy installation, I have been using it for two months with no problems. At 120,000 miles the factory unit died, can't live without AC in Florida summers.
