Michelin is a French tire manufacturer with over 125 years of experience. Whether you own a sport ute, pickup truck, or luxury car, the company has the right tires for every application in its product line. They are specifically designed to improve traction, grip, and stability while offering plenty of comfort for you and your passengers. Regardless of whether you are planning on driving within city limits in New York or taking your vehicle off the road in Alaskan snows, Michelin tires will offer the required connection in-between the wheels and the ground.
The lineup includes all-terrain, winter- and summertime, mud, performance, gas-saving, run-flat, and many more tires. Those designed for all-terrain use will help you venture beyond the pavement’s end while still being comfortable enough for city streets. All-season ones are excellent because they don’t need to be changed twice a year. Mud tires will always help dig you out if you happen to drive in marshes, soggy bogs, on river banks, and elsewhere. Performance tires will help you get the most out of your vehicle’s souped up engine, both on the street or racetrack. Our store offers you a wide range of 18 inch Michelin tires, so you can easily find what suits your application best.
There is a lot of information on the sidewall of a tire. Typically, you'll find UTQG ratings for treadwear, traction and temperature, the size of the tire, the load rating index number with a speed rating index, the construction type (bias or radial), the D.O.T. compliance code, and construction details. On some tires used as original equipment, you may also find a marking that indicates its OE status.
