Mevotech® - Control Arm

I received the exact same product that was advertised. It was packaged very well. Also the same item is sold at my local auto parts store for nearly the same price I pd for both the passenger and driver side. All in all CARiD exceeded my expectations

The price of this component was competitive with similar products. The construction of this control arm is comparable to the OE part I removed. As for the installation... Quick and easy! It took me less than 3 hours to replace both sides; with simple hand tools in my driveway. Please keep safety in mind!

Bushing blow out under a year don’t bother buying. Pay cheap you get cheap. If you do get I recommend you check them at 6 months before warranty expires. I would recommend not to buy. Customer service doesn’t go above for the customer, they don’t care.

It is not original grade at all. Just a trash. Waste of money and time.

Fit perfectly in my 2017 Subaru Crosstrek. Was happy to see it also came with an extra pinch bolt. Would recommend.

Installed all new Mevotech parts, upper and lower control arms, less than 6 months and the control arm bushings are worn out and need to be replaced at a cost of $ 687.17. I just drive around the city, no off road or crazy driving, this is poor quality stuff.

I have a 2007 Ford Ranger 2WD Coil Front Suspension with broken ball joints. I picked up a pair of this and the other control arm for the other side (2 different part numbers) from this site (they have the best price, better than RockAuto and Amazon). These are Mevotech Supreme Control arms with grease fitted ball joints (trust me, these will last so much longer than the sealed cheapy units). Everything about these control arms is heavy duty. The steel is beefier than stock Ford control arms and so are the bushings on the ends (much bigger than stock). Just for the record, Mevotech does not make a more heavier duty control arm for this truck than the Supreme. Its just as heavy duty and as strong as the MOOG heavy duty control arms, but at a much more affordable price. After a pretty easy installation of the arms (the lower ball joint is no joke, be prepared to use plenty of profanity and rent a ball joint press tool from Autozone). These control arms only took me an hour each......they were a joy to work with. Sniff....sniff....it was just a beautiful thing.....but I digress. After everything is tightened down to specs, I drove my Ranger out and noticed something right away. Whenever I started the truck, I could always feel the engine vibration on the steering wheel. I just believed this was normal. Now I feel absolutely nothing from the steering wheel......even over bumpy roads and pot holes. You really begin to realize the abuse these ball joints and control arm bushings have to endure so you can have a smooth, quiet, controlled ride. Save your money and don't buy those expensive Motorcraft stock OEM control arms. These Mevotech will last you far beyond this lifetime.
