The Mercury Tracer is a compact automobile, which was marketed by the company from 1987 to 1999. The model was built on the Mazda B platform and sold in three generations. It was a twin of the Ford Escort on the North American market, and in 1991, the Tracer LTS was even mentioned in the 10Best Cars list by the Car and Driver magazine. The Tracer was available in different body styles including a four-door sedan, three- and five-door hatchback, and five-door station wagon. These models have MacPherson struts in front and independent suspension in the rear, which greatly contributes to handling and makes the Tracer quite easy to service.
MacPherson strut suspension is probably the most common type of the front suspension system used in compact inexpensive cars. It features a comparatively simple and reliable construction and provides good steering stability and handling. Shocks, coils, and control arms can serve for many years, however, the inner bushings of the control arms may ask for replacement quite soon – you will hear knocks in this case. Our online store works 7 days a week and is always ready to supply you with top-grade Mercury Tracer suspension parts such as strut assemblies, ball joints, sway bars, shocks, coil springs, suspension bushings, and so on. With the help of our products, your four-wheel friend will remain in top shape for the longest time possible.
