Vehicle & Parts Protection
Electric vehicles made their debut more than a century ago, but it wasn't until the recent years that they managed to offer a decent top speed and driving range. Today, interest in such vehicles has increased for many reasons including lower running costs and cheaper maintenance, when compared to conventional gasoline/diesel vehicles. Besides, electric vehicles are environmentally friendly, which is another good reason to opt for them. Thanks to significant improvements in electric vehicle technology, they offer a longer range and significantly higher top speed than before and are becoming more and more popular on the market. Many automakers have turned their attention to electric vehicles, and Mercedes-Benz is no exclusion. For the 2019 model year, the company released the eSprinter, an electric version of its popular Sprinter van. This vehicle is the second electrified offering of the company after the eVito released in 2018.
The eSprinter is carefully designed and built to provide reliable electric performance coupled with an attractive appearance and comfortable interior. All Mercedes eSprinter parts and accessories have been professionally built and united to gain that goal. The eSprinter is a mid-size van that has a gross vehicle weight of about 7,716 pounds. The length of the vehicle is 233,5 inches, while its wheelbase is 154 inches. It has a load capacity of about 371 sq. ft. The model is available in two configurations. The first one is a light delivery van powered by a 55 kWh battery, which gets 93 miles of range. In this configuration, the eSprinter offers a payload of 1,984 pounds. For those customers who haul heavier loads, the van equipped with a 41 kWh battery pack will be a better choice. That pack offers a range of 71.5 miles and payload of 2,293 pounds.
Both battery packs are paired with an 84 kW electric motor that provides 112 HP and 221 lb. ft. of torque. Depending on their requirements, customers can select between a maximum speed of 50 mph and 75 mph. The van can be charged in 6 to 8 hours when using a 7.2 kW onboard charger. A DC fast combo charger will allow for charging the eSprinter in just 45 minutes. To guarantee reliable driving, all Mercedes eSprinter accessories and parts under the hood and skin are professionally built to the highest standards. The costs of running this vehicle are almost the same as those of running a diesel van. So, this vehicle is more about reducing emissions than costs. The vehicle is not only about reliable performance, but also a stylish appearance and comfort. All Mercedes eSprinter accessories and parts inside and out are professionally united to provide attractive looks and great practicality.
