Product Details

Stock Replacement Camshaft Bolt by Melling®. Melling recommends new camshaft timing gear bolts with every engine rebuild. Old bolts are subject to metal failure, bolt stretching, and worn threads. Bolts also tend to be lost or damaged during the rebuilding process. There is also a danger of metal cracking when the camshaft timing gear bolt is removed. Melling camshaft timing gear bolts are manufactured to high quality and material standards and meet or exceeds OE performance requirements.

Warranty

Melling Replacement Parts (excluding water pumps) – 12 months.

Melling Replacement water pumps only – 36 months.

Melling High Performance Parts – no warranty (will replace for defect only).

This warranty does not apply to any product that has been altered, tampered with, such as taken apart, misused, subject to excessive operating conditions, malfunctions because of foreign particles such as engine dirt or pieces of other deteriorating components, products used in a vehicle that has been altered for other than intended purposes. Also, performance products are not covered under this warranty including products used for off-road or racing purposes.

THIS WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IS IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR WARRANTY OF QUALITY, WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, EXCEPT THE WARRANTY OF TITLE. ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THE WARRANTY. THE REMEDIES SET FORTH IN THE WARRANTY ARE EXCLUSIVE.

Have Not Used It

I was hoping to exchange it for a different camshaft because my truck motor broke but I was told I missed the return/exchange window by a couple days sadly. The camshaft kit is still perfect in the box it came in never taken out. I had hoped to catch the exchange window to get a camshaft for my 99 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0 I have now.

Perfect

I was not looking to get anything more than a replacement cam to fix my camshaft/OPDA issue. This was exactly what I needed and my Jeep is running like a top.

Great Cam

I did not expect this cam will change anything much, but I noticed my car runs better even after a cold start. Good quality cam with low price CARiD service was great, no hiccups on delivery.
