The McLaren Sports Series was launched in 2015 as the most affordable offering of the company. For the 2019 model year, the series adopted the 600LT, the next Longtail car in the McLaren lineup. Inspired by the iconic 675LT and based on the 570S, the new model aims to push both performance and style to the edge. Focused on ultimate track performance, the 600LT boasts light weight, great grip, and excellent power. All McLaren 600LT parts and accessories are professionally crafted with attention to detail to create the car that has the fighting spirit of its famous Longtail predecessors. The car gets its power from a 3.8 L twin-turbocharged V8 engine that is good for 592 HP and offers 457 lb. ft of torque. The same engine generates 562 HP and produces 443 lb. ft. of torque in the 570S.

The model gets the additional power from an upgraded cooling system. The exhaust system has been relocated from the 600LT’s rear to its engine cover, which also adds horsepower. The car borrows the seven-speed dual clutch transmission from the 570S, which offers fast gear changes and great efficiency. While all McLaren 600LT accessories and parts under the hood and skin work in harmony to deliver fast and reliable driving, all exterior components of the car are designed and united to not only create a sleek and stylish appearance, but also improve aerodynamic performance. Thus, a new aero kit that includes a large rear diffuser and fixed rear wing extends the silhouette of the 600LT by nearly 3 inches. This results in greatly increased downforce, which substantially enhances the car's dynamics.

To maximize handling capabilities, the 2019 McLaren 600LT also received forged aluminum double-wishbones, a quicker steering rack, firmer engine mounts, and Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires. Thanks to its carbon fiber bodywork and chassis teamed with a lightweight braking system, the car is almost 211 lbs lighter than the 570S Coupe. The interior of the car is heavily based on that of its predecessor. Although, it still has a few features that set it apart from the 570S. All McLaren 600LT accessories and parts of the interior are designed and built with today’s racing drivers in mind. Thus, the 600LT can be had with carbon fiber seats that are more aggressive than those found in the 570S. The door panels and dash boast light Alcantara instead of leather. The steering wheel and seats are also wrapped in Alcantara, which increases the grip.
