Together with the Maybach 57, the Maybach 62 was the first vehicle since the brand's revival by Daimler AG. It is based on the Benz Maybach concept car presented at the 1997 Tokyo Motor Show. The model number reflects the respective length of the vehicle in decimeters, featuring extra length for the benefit of rear seat passengers compared with the 57. The Maybach 62 is offered in two versions: the 62 and the 62 S with a more powerful engine. In November 2007, Maybach unveiled the 62 Landaulet at the Middle East International Auto Show. This vehicle revives the classic landaulet car body style, which was popular in the 1920s and 1930s. Luxury, custom built, and mostly chauffeur-driven, the Maybach 62 is one of the most exclusive vehicles in the world. From top-class leather and wood trim to a panoramic glass sunroof and built-in refrigerator, the impeccable Maybach 62 caters to every reasonable and unreasonable demand.

The Maybach 62 is powered by a 5.5-liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine, generating 543 HP and 664 lb. ft. of torque, while the 62 S and the 62 S Landaulet feature a 6.0-liter engine, developing 604 HP and 738 lb. ft. of torque. The 62 accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in about 4.8 seconds; the 62 S and the 62 S Landaulet in about 4.5 seconds. Though not exceptional for today's sports car standards, such acceleration is impressive for a sedan weighing over 6,000 pounds. This 4-door sedan is equipped with a five-speed automatic transmission with auto/manual controls. As expected from a Mercedes-built vehicle, the Maybach 62 is full of advanced safety features, including front and rear side-impact airbags, side curtain airbags, antilock brakes with traction control, electronic stability system, front and rear parking sensor systems, backup camera, and more. Combining modern technologies with a classic design, the Maybach 62 is synonymous with luxury and exclusivity.

The Maybach 62 has every creature comfort car owners may imagine and even several ones they have never thought of. It includes many luxury features such as fully reclining rear seats with built-in massage, Maybach 4 zone climate control, BOSE Surround Everywhere sound system with 21 speakers, voice-activated AM/FM radio, heated cup holders, writing desks that unfold from the armrests, and a built-in refrigerator operated by its own compressor. The 62 also has various additional features, including Cockpit Management and Navigation System (COMAND), which includes DVD navigation, a CD changer in the rear seats, DVD players, and TV tuners (both front and rear), two rear LCD TV screens, including remote control and two sets of headphones. The peculiar feature of the Maybach 62 is its electro-transparent panoramic glass roof. The glass in the roof can be electronically changed between clear, frosted, or completely opaque depending on the owner's mood.

Impressively powerful and breathtakingly stylish, the Maybach 62 is a true symbol of opulence. Designed with meticulous attention to detail, this vehicle delivers a unique driving experience unmatched by any other vehicle. Your Maybach is one of a kind, and it deserves only premium quality parts and exclusive accessories. Whether you are looking for quality or style, CARiD is ready to provide you with high-grade parts and accessories made by world-renowned brands.

Great Mat
Bought for the second row. I like that it fits over the hump. It also fits snug so it's not getting pushed around. Great buy.
