The Mahindra Scorpio is a mid-size sport utility vehicle produced by Indian automobile manufacturer Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. This design differed from the previous ones and the automobile got a chrome highlighted grille, dual projector headlights, fog lamps and turning lamps. The Scorpio also featured new 17-inch alloy wheels. Mahindra offered two engine options for its most popular SUV: a famous 2.2-liter mHawk engine delivering 120 horsepower at 4,000 rpm and a 2.5-liter m2DICR cranking out 75 horsepower at 3,200 rpm. Both engines sent power to either front wheels or all wheels through a standard five-speed manual transmission. The all-wheel drive version was also available with a new 6-speed automatic transmission. The Scorpio boasted state-of-the-art interior features such as an automatic temperature control system, new dual tone dashboard and 6-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
