Product Details

Brite EZ Mounting Brackets (300005) by Lund®. These heavy-duty U-Channel steel brackets will create a strong, secure attachment to the vehicle for your Lund running boards. Each kit is custom designed for the application to ensure each board fits perfectly and is adequately supported. Most applications are bolt-on and hardware is included, however some may require drilling.

You may not think about the mounting brackets much when you buy a set of running boards, but they may be the most important part of the installation. To begin with, they have to be designed to enable the simplest and easiest installation, and shaped to make sure the running boards are the proper relation to the body for best appearance and usability. But they also have to be designed and made from strong material to ensure they can safely support you and your passengers, today and many years from now.

Lund knows how important mounting brackets are, and have designed and built these accordingly. They’re made of heavy-duty steel that’s been formed into strong U-Channels to resist bending and deformity. They’re custom designed for each application because Lund knows that universal fit won’t deliver the right look and functionality for each model. Hardware is supplied but some applications may require drilling for running board and bracket installation.

What Is Covered: All defects in materials or workmanship except paint and painting on all Lund International, Inc.'s Lund International, AVS®, Lund®, Nifty® and Deflecta-Shield® Accessories branded products properly installed per provided instructions except those listed below under the One-Year Warranty, Two-Year Warranty or Three-Year Warranty. This warranty does not apply to any product from Lund International's direct or indirect subsidiaries.

For How Long: This warranty and any implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, last as long as the original retail purchaser owns the vehicle on which the product is installed. The warranty expires if the product is removed from the original vehicle or if the original vehicle is transferred to another owner. The warranty is not transferable from the original purchaser.

Limited One-Year Warranty

What Is Covered: All defects in materials or workmanship on all Pro-Line® branded replacement carpets - Challenger™, Ultima™ and Contender™ branded storage boxes - All Cargo Management products except the Folding Aluminum Ramp, Folding Aluminum Arched Ramp, Bi-Fold Ramps and Tri-Fold Ramps properly installed per provided instructions.

For How Long: This warranty and any implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, last one year from the date of purchase. The warranty expires if the product is removed from the original vehicle or if the original vehicle is transferred to another owner. The warranty is not transferable from the original purchaser.

Limited Two-Year Warranty

What Is Covered: All defects in materials or workmanship except paint, painting or powder coating on Seal-Tite™ branded storage boxes properly installed per provided instructions.

For How Long: This warranty and any implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, last two years from the date of purchase. The warranty expires if the product is removed from the original vehicle or if the original vehicle is transferred to another owner. The warranty is not transferable from the original purchaser.

Limited Three-Year Warranty

What Is Covered: All defects in materials or workmanship except paint and painting on the Stainless Interceptor™, Folding Aluminum Ramp, Folding Aluminum Arched Ramp, Bi-Fold Ramps and Tri-Fold Ramps properly installed per provided instructions.

For How Long: This warranty and any implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, last three years from the date of purchase. The warranty expires if the product is removed from the original vehicle or if the original vehicle is transferred to another owner. The warranty is not transferable from the original purchaser.

What Lund International Will Do: During the applicable warranty period listed above, Lund International will, at its option replace any defective product at no charge. You must pay any labor charges associated with removing or reinstalling the product. If a specific product has been discontinued, Lund International may, at its option, replace your product with a current product of comparable function and value.

What These Warranties Will Not Cover: These warranties do not cover any damage, defect, or malfunction caused by misuse, abuse, accident, improper installation, modification, improper or inadequate maintenance, or on-road and off-road hazards. Incidental and consequential damages are not recoverable under this warranty. Some states or provinces do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this exclusion or limitation may not apply to you.

How Does State Law Apply? This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights which vary from state to state or province to province. This warranty statement supersedes all previous warranty statements in AVS®, Lund®, Nifty® and/or Deflecta-Shield® Accessories catalogs or other marketing materials.

My Oldsmobile Bravada Looks Lovely

The brackets that came with the step rails were easy to install. No damage to them. The quality is the best and the price was great, very affordable. I tell everybody where I ordered them from. They find it hard to believe that I ordered them from the internet. They look so good.

Sturdy Running Boards

The running boards are very sturdy. They do what they're meant to do - add to the convenience and safety of those entering and exiting the vehicle. They're also very "attractive" on a black Durango. Before ordering the running boards, we read that they'd fit our particular model of Durango, but we should have measured the length of the area to be covered and compared it to the description's length of the running boards. We had the running boards professionally installed, and the installer mentioned to us that they weren't long enough to cover the entire area, so we had them centered below the doors. There's enough room to use them as a step, but they'd look better if they ran the length of the area between the wheels.

Great Running Boards, Bad Installation

For my Ram 1500, it could only install in two places (towards the back of the crew cab and the middle. For the front part, there weren't any holes there like the back two. Instead of installing it as it said it should, I just hooked up one screw to the front of the running board. I tried screwing a hole into the frame but there is another thing blocking it in the inside so it wouldn't work. So far it's been holding up but doesn't feel too steady. Lund should have used a different bar to hold it up.

Look great, easy to install, even with instructions in French! They did get me install instructions in English in a couple days, but I had already finished installation..very simple and straight forward.

Lund Crossroads Look Great Feel Sturdy.

I like the slim appearance of the board. Not impressed with the plastic end caps, but we will see how they hold up like nice now.
