Before becoming fully devoted to electric vehicles, Lotus released its last internal-combustion model under the name Emira. It is the automaker’s first entirely new sports car in 13 years. Built to replace the well-known Elise and Exige, the Lotus Emira remains much true to the heritage of its predecessors and offers even more practicality. It sets itself apart from them at every turn. With a great number of uniquely designed parts and accessories inside and out, it delivers not only a breathtaking driving experience but also distinctive looks and a more comfortable and safer cabin. Want to give your car a personal touch of style? That’s not an issue with a tremendous range of Lotus Emira accessories and parts offered by aftermarket manufacturers.
This model does have an eye-catching appearance even without any customization. Its exterior design is heavily inspired by that of the Evija. It has a similarly designed front end along with contoured scoops which are integrated into its doors. They gulp up air for a mid-mounted engine. The Emira features a lightweight bonded aluminum chassis and fiberglass bodywork. The designers at Lotus gave the newbie a pretty large door aperture to make access to the cabin easy. Although there are no active aerodynamic elements, it generates positive downforce. Powertrain-wise, the sports car is offered with either a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with a turbocharger that makes 360 horsepower or a 3.5-liter V6 with a supercharger generating up to 400 horsepower. The former is sourced from AMG and mated to a dual-clutch automatic, while the latter is supplied by Toyota and can be teamed with a manual or torque converter automatic transmission. For maximum comfort and maneuverability, the car is equipped with hydraulically assisted steering.
The quickest version is powered by a V6. It takes less than 4.5 seconds to sprint from zero to 62 mph and tops out at 180 mph. This model is undeniably a great choice for drivers who like to put the pedal to the metal. Those who want to get the most out of their Emira can further upgrade it with performance parts. Many of them upgrade spark plugs, make modifications to air intake and suspension, install custom tires, and so on to reach the goal. Whatever mods you have in mind, we have the right Lotus Emira parts and accessories for your project. Stepping inside, you will find a stylish interior well-equipped with up-to-date technologies and amenities. Emiras come standard with a 10.2-inch central touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and 12-volt and USB charging ports. A bunch of safety and driver-assistance features are optional.
