The Lincoln MKS is a full-size luxury automobile built by Lincoln. The first MKS came off of an assembly line in May 2008, with initial sales starting a month later. The MKS is based on Ford-sourced D3 platform sharing it with the Ford Taurus, which is already in its sixth generation, and several other vehicles. The MKS features a front-wheel-drive architecture with all-wheel drive offered as an option. The MKS is outfitted with a 3.7L Duratec V6 engine coupled with a six-speed automatic transmission. An optional EcoBoost 3.5L twin-turbo V6 with direct injection is also available. The MKS can easily provide seating for five people. The Lincoln MKS is produced at Ford's Chicago Assembly production plant.
