Offered from 1983 to 1992, the Mark VII is the longest-running member of the Lincoln Mark family. The new vehicle was built on the Ford’s Fox platform and shared it with the Ford Thunderbird and the Mercury Cougar, as well as most assemblies and features. However, the Mark VII was positioned above the two through its significantly longer options list including a trip computer, air suspension for all four wheels, and electronic 4-channel ABS. The seventh-generation Mark also obtained an improved design of the front and rear fascias and composite headlights.
Like any internal combustion engine, the powerplant of your Mark VII generates much heat during its operation. The great majority of this energy can’t be used, so it must be dissipated in the atmosphere to avoid engine overheating. The engine cooling system, whose main function is to provide efficient and constant heat removal, is a complex assembly that consists of a huge number of components working in unison. If even one of the components gets damaged or wears out, the entire system will suffer. That’s why the quality of replacement parts used for maintenance or repair is crucially important. We know this and put only high-quality Lincoln Mark VII replacement engine cooling parts on our stock list.
