    Front Strut Mounting Kit by KYB®. KYB Strut Mounts eliminate the vibration and noise caused by old, hardened vibration insulators. They optimize suspension performance by offering OE quality replacement components designed for each application. KYB Strut Mounts cushion the impacts from road bumps to reduce the jarring effect, noise and vibration that old mounts transmit into the vehicle. Bearing plates are the steering pivots and support vehicle weight. They are critical to steering performance and wheel alignment. KYB Strut Mounts and bearing plates have a reputation for providing the highest quality in the industry.

    As the name implies, the strut mount is a component that attaches the suspension strut to the vehicle. The strut mount optimizes suspension performance by providing a smooth steering response and reducing vibration. The strut mount includes an insulator and on front struts, a steering pivot bearing. The insulator gets pushed and pulled as many as 1,500 times for every mile driven, and the bearing rotates every time you turn the steering wheel, so it’s easy to see how this part can become worn. To prevent noise and vibration, and preserve smooth steering and proper front end alignment, when you install new KYB struts, install new KYB strut mounts as well. They’re built to meet or exceed OE quality.

    KYB Front Strut Mounts
    These strut mounts work really well. I replaced the factory with these when I replaced the struts. Quite an improvement!

    Front Strut Mounting Kit
    Brand new and fits like it should. I was surprised it didn't have the spring base mount as I assumed it was included in the mounting kit. The top rubber mount was there but it was missing the bottom rubber mount. If I would have known, I could have ordered it when I ordered this part and the struts. Instead I had to get it from a dealer and pay 4 times the amount if I had ordered it so I had it while the vehicle was apart.

    KYB Strut Mount Saturn Ion 2003
    Came in perfect condition and was able to install. However, was missing the bearing that was supposed to come with the kit.

    Cheap Tront Strut Mounting Kit
    KYB tells you to replace them, but even the used ones are better these because these are cheap material.

    The KYB SM5450 is a strut mount for my Jaguar, looks great and I like that there is 2 different coil spring seats, Rubber or Poly-foam! I like the Rubber better! Please me my Jag happy!
