Product Details

77 Series High-Flow Performance Air Intake Kit by K&N®. The K&N high-flow performance air intake system is a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube air induction system. The restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing on your vehicle are replaced by this K&N air intake system which is designed to dramatically reduce air flow restriction as it smoothes and straightens air flow.

The improved air flow allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than it would from the stock air intake. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout your engine’s RPM range. The air intake comes with a chrome topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that installs into the previous air box space. Air is directed through the intake tube into the engine’s throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The intake tube has an attractive chrome-like finish that's made to last and it accommodates the factory mass air sensor and a couple of replacement silicone crank case vent hoses. The oversized cone shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on driving conditions. This air intake is relatively easy to install usually in 90 minutes or less. Some K&N 77 series air intakes are not legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emission standards while others are CARB exempt and 50 state legal. Check the vehicle applications and specific CARB status for each vehicle and air intake.

This warranty does not cover damage due to (a) transportation, (b) storage, (c) improper use, (d) failure to follow the Product instructions or to perform any preventive maintenance, (e) modifications, (f) unauthorized repair, (g) normal wear and tear, (h) any type of racing or competition, (i) any off-road use, or (j) external causes such as accidents, abuse, or other actions or events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., acts of God and natural disasters).

How Long Does the Coverage Last?

This warranty lasts for 10-Years or a Million Miles, whichever comes first, from the date the product was purchased. The warranty period will not be extended if we repair or replace the Product.

Dude. This CAI is legit. I'm no mechanic and I installed the 77 series on my '13 F-150 5.0 in a little over an hour, and that was being really careful and double checking Everything. If I had to do the same install again I'd have it done in under 30 minutes. Can't say much yet about increased power cuz I only drove it 10 minutes to make sure it ran. Sound Roar Sounds like a giant taking a *** off something. I run Flowmaster 40 single in dual out with resonater delete and the Coyote sounded great before but now you don't hear just the exhaust, you hear the V-8 Engine. A lot more muscle car feel just with this install. Worth every penny.

Good Delivery Easy Order

The plastic was just a lil used or scratched up not sure if for test purposes or something else but it all fit perfectly fine no problem start up gave it 3-5 minutes and drove to the gas station just fine sounds good works great.

Great But Needs Trimed

I drive 2019 ford flex 3.5l non turbo and love the product, makes pretty awesome noise but in the install the intake pipe going in the throttle body of the 3.5l non turbo is almost to long needs to be shorter going in the rubber air boot , the pipe reaches so close i measured it at 1/8 th of a inch from the metal from the throttle body but overall ive had KNN for years and seen the befor but still amzing product

Saved Our Trip

We own a class c camper build around a Ford 2006 e450 6.8 Triton (10 cylinder). In our initial runs it struggled, significantly, with minor inclines. Installed this (no other changes made) and it was just enough to make those inclines unnoticeable. Anything beyond a hill the Triton will still roar, but just making it get over hills with ease made our cross country trip that much more enjoyable. Also, was very easy to install. Instructions were good and the build quality seems solid.
