The booming subcompact crossover market is a fierce battlefield for automakers. Kia joined the fray with the all-new Stonic, unveiled right after the introduction of its cousin, the Hyundai Kona. The Kia Stonic embodies the essence of a 'cute ute', offering fancy styling, sporty ride, and comprehensive modern-day tech. Kia claims it to be the most customizable vehicle in their lineup to date. A range of customization options available from launch is what sets it apart from the competition. It offers 20 different two-tone exterior paint combinations, 5 roof colors, bright interior packs, a variety of engine options, and a suite of the latest safety features and driver aids.
Externally, there is an eye-catching mix of sharp SUV-inspired lines and bright playful accents. A targa-style roof and black plastic cladding across the bottom line complete the Stonic's rugged go-anywhere appearance. The Stonic is aggressively styled, yet it is still recognizably a Kia. Behind a signature ‘tiger-nose’ grille and sculpted surfaces of the hood and fenders, there's a gasoline or diesel engine, small yet lively like the ute itself. The smallest one is a 1.0-liter turbocharged T-GDI, fed with gasoline and making 118 hp. There are two other gas engines that displace 1.25 and 1.4 liters, both naturally aspirated and featuring multi-point injection. Completing the lineup is a 1.6-liter diesel. All are bolted to a manual transmission and send power solely to the front wheels.
The Kia Stonic's lightweight yet high-strength body encapsulates an efficiently packaged interior that provides enough room for everyone in the cabin. This small SUV offers class-leading shoulder room and a 12.4 cubic-feet trunk space. Inside, Kia Stonic parts and accessories can be personalized just like the exterior. There's a range of vivid color packs and a host of technologies that customers can add. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are offered as standard along with a smart infotainment system operated via a touchscreen. A variety of the latest electronic assistants includes keyless entry, rear cross traffic alert, automatic braking system, adaptive cruise control, and more.
The Kia Stonic has a striking design, but there's always room for improvement. It offers a raft of in-cabin options and focuses on ergonomics, but you can personalize it further to perfectly adjust it to your own needs. In our Kia Stonic accessories and parts selection, we carry everything to make your vehicle unique. And when the time comes for scheduled maintenance, repair, or performance upgrade, we are ready to provide you with the right Kia Stonic accessories and parts for any job.
