    Thermostat by JET®. Temperature: 160F. Jet Low-Temp Thermostats increase horsepower and control engine temp by consistently metering water flow throughout the engine instead of simply cycling open/close, which in OE units creates temperature spikes.

    Reduced engine temperatures add life to your engine and provide a denser air/fuel mixture which helps produce more horsepower. Consistent control of engine temperature allows an engine to operate at its peak efficiency no matter what the driving conditions. The factory 195° thermostat simply cycles open and closed, this reduces cooling efficiency in any engine. With the JET Performance Low Temp Stat Thermostat 160F thermostat you get consistent engine cooling and a precise metering of water throughout the engine. Constructed of stainless steel.

    Jet 10183 - Thermostat
    The product looks great, packaged well in a clear carton so that you can clearly see it. Installation was a snap. The product looks like it is well constructed and made of stainless steel.

    Great Thermostat!
    Product looked like the picture and it lives up to its standard, when I drove it in my V6 firebird. Definitely helped my engine run better and it solved my pre detonation issue.

    My Thermostat
    I got this thermostat because I got the Jet Performance Product PAK-6. That performance chip is amazing works right, and does absolutely fine . The best chip I have ever gotten. But when I put the thermostat in it was ease. The problems came when I didn't get a new gasket for my thermostat gasket. So it leaked and had to wait for that to get to my house. Then my engine always get hotter than it should but this time the thermostat gasket broke and had a big crack across it. The fluid leaked all over my engine again. So I got a new thermostat gasket and after installation of all that it was fine.
