A massive success of Jaguar's first SUV, quite naturally, spurred the automaker to make a bigger leap into this highly lucrative market. Introduced for 2018, the The Jaguar E-Pace arrived hot on the heels of the F-Pace. Stylistically, Jaguar's all-new crossover is influenced more by the F-Type sports car than by its elder brother, featuring a similar front fascia design, LED headlights and tail lights, and a raked coupe-inspired roofline. The compact, sporty Jaguar E-Pace is stubbier and taller than its Pace-family counterpart, with a bold low-placed mesh grille, big intakes, and pronounced wheel arches accentuating its design. All in all, a thoughtfully balanced blend of the dynamic character of a Jaguar sports car and the utility of an SUV make the E-Pace a serious contender to the likes of the BMW X1, Mercedes GLA, and Audi Q3.
Although the E-Pace is built on the Land Rover platform that also underpins the Discovery and Range Rover Evoque, this crossover handles like a Jaguar rather than like a Land Rover. Its fully independent suspension (a combination of MacPherson Strut and multilink) features aluminum parts to reduce weight, while the camber was made stiffer, front knuckles were changed, and the steering rack was attached directly to the frame for better responsiveness. The U.S.-spec E Pace is offered with all-wheel drive as standard. Power comes from a 2.0L turbo four-banger from Jaguar's Ingenium family, available in two states of tune. The base unit delivers 246 hp, while a higher-rated engine powering Dynamic models pumps out 295 hp. Both versions are mated to a 9-speed automatic by ZF.
Inside the cabin, Jaguar E-Pace accessories and parts show plenty of F-Type influence. There is a grab handle on the side of the center console and the upright electronic shifter also found in the F-Type. The interior follows a two-tone theme, with accentuating chrome trim and leather treatments. A sporty interior design theme goes hand-in-hand with practicality that is utterly important in this type of a vehicle. The interior is quite spacious and offers 52.5 cu. ft. of cargo room with the rear seats folded. There are also plenty of storage compartments all over the cabin, including a set of removable cup holders. Tech-wise, the E-Pace comes with Wi-Fi connection, up to five USB ports, a head-up display, and a 10-inch touchscreen that can be upgraded to a 12.3-inch size. On the list of available active safety tech, there is automated emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, parking assist system, and more. Feel like the interior lacks some comfort or convenience features or the exterior needs some unique styling cues? We have all Jaguar E-Pace accessories that your crossover might be lacking. We also carry Jaguar E-Pace parts to keep your vehicle in like-new condition or upgrade its mechanicals.
