Since its humble beginnings as a one-man shop in 1954, Hedman Hedders grew to become a leading header manufacturer for racing and street header marketplaces. Over time Hedman Hedders has become the brand of choice among elite racing engine builders and racers like Warren Johnson, Shirley Muldowney, Bob Chandler, etc. However the company doesn't rest on its laurels and strives to go above and beyond the customers' expectations with every opportunity.
The company was established by Bob Hedman who wanted to earn some extra money for his racing hobby and sold his asked-for exhaust tubes to fellow racers on the salt flats of the Mojave Desert. Originally designed for straightline drag racers, Hedman Hedders products quickly became renowned for their outstanding performance and Hedman Hedders earned an enviable reputation as a trusted company which specializes in the production of top-of-the-line headers.
Hedman Hedders manufactures its products in accordance with strict quality standards and environmental requirements to ensure they will meet your most demanding expectations. The company uses the computer technology to guarantee that its products offer significant performance improvement. They offer additional ground clearance while still providing ample exhaust flow for high performance set ups. Hedman Hedders also carries an extensive line of state-of-the-art mufflers that can be used as OEM replacements as well as in custom exhaust systems. These mufflers are specially engineered to decrease and control noise without excessively restricting power.
