Great Product, Needs Better Instructions
The running boards work great and look nice on my 2024 Tacoma. They deploy smoothly when I open the door and tuck away nicely when closed. Make getting in and out so much easier for kids. The installation manual wasn't very detailed which made setup longer than expected. Watched a few youtube videos to get it right.

Excellent Indeed
They work great. At first was kinda worried that they wouldn't be low enough for my uncle but they work nice.

Dominator D1 Black Running Boards
The running boards are good, finish looks good, fit looks good. The install instructions are awful. I read a review prior to buying these and I should have followed their advice....don't follow instructions. The passenger board took over 90 minutes following the instructions, the drivers was 30 minutes not following them. The install design is just very poor. There are 3 nut plates that go into the running boards that are not mounted so it is close to impossible to align with mounted bracket on Jeep. Need to mount brackets onto running boards, leave loose, then mount to Jeep. I am not confident in the toughness of the finish as I got a couple scratches while installing. Run bolts into nut plate to clean out threads before trying install so they are easier to start when under the Jeep. The look and finish I would say is a 3.5 to 4 and the install and design is a 1 so I averaged it out to a 3.

Functionality
I ordered these for my brand new Ram 2500 crew cab truck. I liked the way they looked online and thought they would be great. Well they do look great! Only problem is they tuck so far up under the rocker panel area of my truck you can barely get your foot on them to climb in the truck. Then good luck getting your foot on them to get out cause they really don't exist. So I wish and hope they could build some sort of spacer to space them out from the mounting brackets. If they could be pushed out 2 inches they would be way more functional for my truck. Like I said they look great, just don't function well for me.

These Look Awesome on My 2017 Tacoma!
I researched on which boards to buy for awhile now and narrowed it down to abount 4 types. I had the Predator steps on my Tacoma, but everyone has those so I wanted something different. I sold my Predator steps and decided on getting these D6 boards! I am so glad I did! They look awesome on my 2017 Tacoma! The quality looks good and they give the truck an aggressive look but sleek as well. Installation wasn't too bad but to me, it seems like it could of been designed to be a direct bolt on rather than using seperate parts to bolt on first and then the boards bolting on to those pieces. Once you get one board on, you will learn how to place it precisely so that the other board will not take as long to install. I hope they hold up well over time, but I do not see why they wouldn't.

Looks Great but Bad Design
Bought these for my wife! They looks amazing but... Whomever designed them must never had to install them. The L bracket that attaches the frame brackets to the boards must be universal as they just flop around in there just enough to not align the bolt to the holes. And one of the brackets was welded crooked. For something that cost as much as these do they could have designed them better. I mean jeep left holes to mount stuff there even. I have installed several running boards in my day and this design is the worst. Could have been excellent, but far from it.

Super Nice!
Excellent product! Easy to install and adds an awesome look to my truck! It also is super practical for a step without being to low and sacrificing clearance. Although these are not true rock sliders, I believe they will give some level of protection due to their sturdiness. My 2020 1794 has a 3 inch lift so eventually I would of worn out the edge of my seat getting in and out by not having them. I highly recommend them.

Looks Great and Extremely Sturdy
These look better installed on my 2020 Tacoma than I had even thought. Installation was easier with a helper, but I was able to install one side by myself. I would absolutely recommend these to anyone who also doesn't like the steps in most running boards.
