Vehicle & Parts Protection
The GMC Sierra EV arrived soon after the related Chevrolet Silverado EV, traditionally representing its more upscale and tech-packed version. Together with the big and brash GMC Hummer EV, GM’s trio offers different choices for the pickup truck buying public interested in fully electric powertrains. All three use a new Ultium architecture and share many parts. With a lot of power, a reasonable range, and great utility features, the battery-powered Sierra makes a good everyday pickup truck just as much as its gasoline sibling. And it implies just as high degree of personalization, with our GMC Sierra EV accessories and parts readily available to bring your project to life.
Range & Performance
For its first year on the market, the Sierra EV is available exclusively as the Denali Edition 1 fitted with all possible bells and whistles. Both axles are driven by electric motors that deliver a combined output of 754 hp and 785 lb-ft of torque. Peak output is only available when Max Power driving mode is activated, which motivates the truck to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds. Speaking of moving weights, the Denali Edition 1 can tow 9500 pounds worth of trailer and accommodate a payload of 1300 pounds. It can go 400 miles on a single charge, and replenishing juice is possible at speeds as high as 350 kW; under these conditions, 100 miles are recharged in about 10 minutes.
Interior & Cargo
As is customary with the Denali, the interior is lined with nice materials including genuine leather and open-pore wood. 11-inch digital gauges, a giant 16.8-inch center touchscreen, and a clean, horizontally oriented dash design with metal accents create a futuristic look. Technology is in spades, with the all-out Denali Edition 1 model offering such features as an advanced camera view system based on 14 cameras that helps with maneuvering and GM’s Super Cruise hands-free driving assistance system that can work with the trailer hooked up. At launch, the vehicle is only available in a crew cab form and has a 5-ft. 11-in. bed. The MultiPro MidGate – the partition that separates the bed and the cabin – folds down to extend cargo box capacity.
Easy and Affordable Upgrades
Whether it’s a workhorse or a weekend toy, trucks are meant for personalization. Here you’ll find a full selection of GMC Sierra EV parts and accessories at fair prices, including but not limited to:
- Tonneau covers. This is easily the number one accessory that truck owners add, simply because it helps protect the cargo and bed materials.
- Custom wheels. When it comes to dramatically improving the exterior, compelling rims will sure be on your shopping list.
- Floor mats. A ton of mud and spills will end up on your carpet without a good set of these indispensable interior protectors.
